Reflecting on the GenQ Hackathon Success In October, QCentroid had the privilege of providing our QuantumOps Platform to power the GenQ Hackathon. We realized that many people underestimate the hackathons’ impact on the quantum industry for technology adoption, so we decided to share some details with you. Let’s talk numbers first. Last week was the last day of the fantastic QAI Ventures Accelerator program. Our time together has been highly productive, and we’re proud to share some of our achievements: - Thanks to the QAI Ventures network, we brought two stellar partners on board (Kipu Quantum and QPerfect), engaged in projects with two quantum ecosystems (in the Basel area and Calgary), with seven more collaborations underway; - Stress-tested the platform with four different providers and 100+ concurrent users during the GenQ hackathon; - Build a new complimentary product (The Sandbox - for developers) from scratch;  - Met and built lasting connections with dozens of leading companies in Switzerland and Canada from finance, energy, and life sciences industries, receiving invaluable feedback and leads; - Raised our game in market positioning, marketing, new customer acquisition, IP protection, and more, thanks to great mentors - Consumed 10+ kg of fondue and raclette - Conquered one mountain while having 10+ hours of great discussions and good time! Today, after only a few months, we have the best next-generation computing platform on the market, we are better prepared to engage with investors, and above all, we are ready to partner with forward-looking organizations like QAI Ventures and empower innovative businesses and quantum ecosystems! Today marks the opening of the GenQ Quantum Computing Hackathon in Calgary, and an important milestone for us. QCentroid is providing the platform for the hackathon! Over the course of two days, more than 20 teams will have the opportunity to work on solving 4 cases presented and powered by Alice & Bob, Xanadu, Kipu Quantum, Pasqal and Quantum Rings, Inc.. Participants will access use cases on the platform, upload their code, and perform computation and benchmarking. We are very grateful to QAI Ventures for giving us the opportunity to support this incredible adventure.
