🌍🐟 IMPULSANDO LA INNOVACIÓN CON #ATIPECA Esta semana nos reunimos con AZTI y realizamos varias pruebas de secado utilizando distintos sistemas para adaptar nuestro RINA Jet Flash Dryer al procesamiento de espinas de pescado, un subproducto clave en el proyecto ATIPECA (Aplicación de Tecnologías Innovadoras para Potenciar la Economía Circular en la Acuicultura). Los piensos en acuicultura representan un alto coste, por lo que es clave encontrar materias primas más asequibles. Sin embargo, el secado, una etapa de alto consumo energético, supone un reto importante. Nuestra tecnología #RINA Jet Flash Dryer procesa productos sensibles a la temperatura. Actualmente, estamos trabajando para adaptarla a espinas de pescado, que presentan desafíos de homogenización y disgregación. Con ATIPECA, queremos ampliar nuestra capacidad tecnológica para procesar matrices alimentarias más complejas y contribuir a una acuicultura más sostenible. ♻️💡 - 🌍🐟 DRIVING INNOVATION WITH #ATIPECA This week, we met with AZTI and conducted several drying tests using different systems to adapt our RINA Jet Flash Dryer for processing fish bones, a key by-product in the ATIPECA project (Application of Innovative Technologies to Enhance Circular Economy in Aquaculture). Feed is a major cost in aquaculture, making it essential to explore more affordable raw materials. However, drying processes, with their high energy demands, remain a key challenge. Our #RINA Jet Flash Dryer technology processes temperature-sensitive products. We are currently working on adapting it to fish bones, which present homogenisation and disintegration challenges. 🌍 Last week, our team participated in the Egyptian Demonstration Workshop in Cairo, Egypt, as part of the NEWFEED Project. 👥 Ricard Fenollosa Domènech and Javier María Terol Catalan represented Riera Nadeu during the event at Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development (HUSD), contributing to the project’s ongoing developments.
