👉 We are pleased to announce that SINTAC Recycling has successfully joined the Cluster de Innovación de Envase y Embalaje, with the aim of working hand in hand with the business organization in such relevant fields as recycling and sustainability in the #packaging sector. The Cluster, which currently consists of more than 85 companies in the packaging value chain, mainly packaging manufacturers, raw material suppliers, transformers and recycling companies, aims to facilitate the improvement of the competitiveness of member companies through #innovation and #sustainability. ♻️ SINTAC's entry as a member of the Spanish Packaging Cluster is framed within the company's commitment to collaborate with all the agents in the plastics value chain to promote the sustainable development and circularity of plastics. SINTAC Recycling strengthens its commitment to those affected by the #DANA, coordinating charitable contributions of cleaning and hygiene materials and staple goods, arriving from all over Europe. 🚚 The initiative, launched at the beginning of the catastrophe, aims to facilitate and expedite the effective delivery of charitable contributions by our international partners, among which are private companies, city councils, associations and universities, to the different delivery points in #Valencia, according to the daily needs of each one of them. To this end, SINTAC's logistics team, coordinates the deliveries of supplies arriving at our logistics center, and their distribution to those in need, by means of military convoys of the Spanish Army and external collaborators such as TECHNICAL LOGISTIC TRANSPORT S.L. and Pérez Rangel S.L., who have placed their fleets of vehicles and their personnel at our disposal. So far, #SINTAC has distributed more than 250,000 liters of bleach, 180,000 plastic containers for hot food distribution and 130,000 liters of detergent, among many other cleaning, hygiene and food products, to the donation collection centers in Valencia. 🤝Plastic packaging and foodware manufacturers such as Granzplast S.A., Grupo Erum, The Sarao Factory and Sp-Berner have contributed altruistically 39 pallets of packaging and foodware, which we have already delivered to food preparation centers, such as the centers of "Cocineros en Acción", Feria Valencia, "Ayuda a una familia" and "ASFANA". These centers are distributing a total of 21,500 food rations per day. 🫧 Furthermore, the company’s initiative has been supported by Condaplast S.A., Aktivapluss AS, FIMIC SRL, Laboratorios Forenqui and SPB | THE SPB GLOBAL CORPORATION, which have donated more than 42 pallets of recycled black garbage bags, ammonia gel, dishwasher, ammonia floor cleaner, personal hygiene material, laundry detergent, bleach and hydroalcoholic gel. 📦 Additionally, in collaboration with TINYCOTTONS, which has donated 1 pallet of diapers and baby food, and 100 boxes of unworn children's clothing, we have been able to distribute brand new supplies to dozens of families. With regard to donations, SINTAC Recycling itself has donated 60 pallets of bleach, equivalent to 9,600 units, 1 pallet of alcohol 96, 2 pallets of disinfectant with bleach and 100,268 units of hydroalcoholic gel. We will continue to coordinate donations for as long as necessary and encourage those companies that wish to donate any supplies to get in touch with us. SINTAC Recycling has placed its logistics center at the disposal of the Spanish Army Ejercito de Tierra to help coordinate the reception and distribution of donated supplies for the populations most affected by the #DANA. Since this Sunday we are receiving trailers filled with donations from some of our partners such as Sp-Berner, TATAY S.A., SPB | THE SPB GLOBAL CORPORATION, Grupo Erum, La Antigua Lavandera, COVEFAR, PRODUCTOS LC LA CORBERANA SL, VIVISASOL SL, Cleanity, who have supplied mainly cleaning and personal hygiene products, which are then being delivered by the military to the most devastated areas. 💡♻️ AVEP and AIMPLAS · Instituto Tecnológico del Plástico held yesterday, Tuesday, October 22, the XXII Annual Meeting of the Plastics Sector. The event, which was held at #CaixaForum Valencia, was represented by Victoria Lopez Lopez and Vicente Olmos Jorge. During the event, the Regional Minister of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism, Nuria Montes, the Regional Secretary for the Environment and Territory, RAÚL MÉRIDA, and the Director General of Industry of the Generalitat Valenciana, Manuel Rosalén Caparrós, recognized the contribution to society and the economy of the recycled plastics industry through its companies. 🧬 A master class on generative AI was also given by David Hurtado Torán, Innovation Lead at Microsoft Spain. 🔬 For more than two decades, SINTAC Recycling has been collaborating with AVEP and AIMPLAS to boost technological #innovation and promote sustainable development in the field of recycling and its application in the plastic materials sector. These collaborations aim to leverage the resources and knowledge of both entities with that of SINTAC to promote innovative projects that promote the #circulareconomy of plastics.
