Currently playing for Western Sydney Wanderers FC in the A-League, he experienced the adrenaline of the ROLEX SailGP Championship firsthand. [ESP] 🌊 Luchamos hasta el final en Sídney y vamos terceros en la general 🔥 El Spain SailGP Team volvió a demostrar su garra en el KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix | Sydney, peleando hasta la última carrera por un puesto en la final. Pese a no conseguir el objetivo estamos orgullosos de nuestro trabajo. Finalizamos séptimos en Sídney, un resultado que nos permite ocupar el tercer puesto en la clasificación general del ROLEX SailGP Championship. En la temporada 2025 aún quedan muchos Grandes Premios por disputar y seguimos con la misma motivación que el primer día para seguir luchando por cada punto.  🗣️Diego Botín: "Ha sido Gran Premio difícil para nosotros. Hemos navegado de manera decente, pero no hemos sabido salir bien. No ha sido un buen fin de semana". 📍 Próxima parada: Los Ángeles. The Spain SailGP Team once again showed its grit at the KPMG Australia Sail Grand Prix | Sydney, fighting until the last race for a place in the final. Despite not achieving the goal we are proud of our work. We finished seventh in Sydney, a result that allows us to move up to third place in the overall standings of the ROLEX SailGP Championship. The season still has a lot to decide, and we are still motivated to keep fighting for big goals.  🗣️Diego Botín: “It has been a difficult day for us. We had a decent sail, but we didn't know how to get out of it. It hasn't been a good weekend.” 📍 Next stop: Los Angeles.
