📢 ¡𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗰𝗶ó𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮! Ya estamos en 2025 y el Real Decreto 1055/2022 sobre envases y residuos de envases ya ha entrado en vigor. A partir de ahora, todas las empresas que utilicen envases para comercializar productos en España deben cumplir con la Responsabilidad Ampliada del Productor (RAP). 💡 Esto implica adherirse a un Sistema Colectivo (SCRAP) o crear un Sistema Individual (SIRAP), y estar registrados en el Registro de Productores de Producto del MITERD. Además, el número de registro debe aparecer en todas las facturas. 🌍 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄! 🎉 As we wrap up 2024, it's essential for those in the cosmetics industry to stay up to date with the latest regulatory changes. Here’s a quick summary of this year’s most important updates that will shape the future of the beauty and skincare sector: 🔬 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀: Regulation (EU) 2024/858 introduces prohibitions on certain nanomaterials in cosmetics. Key ingredients like Hydroxyapatite (nano) are now restricted, and others like Colloidal Copper (nano), Gold (nano), Platinum (nano), and more are prohibited in cosmetic products. 🚫 𝗘𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀: Regulation (EU) 2024/996 tightens controls on substances with potential endocrine-disrupting properties, including Vitamin A, Alpha-Arbutin, and others. New products containing these will need to comply by May 2025. ⚠️ 𝗢𝗺𝗻𝗶𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗔𝗧𝗣): Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/197 adds Trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide and Dimethyltolylamine to the list of prohibited substances in cosmetics. This comes into effect in September 2025. ☢️ 𝗖𝗠𝗥 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀: Talc and Heliotropine have been classified as Carcinogenic and Reproductive Toxicants (CMR 1B), with possible restrictions expected by 2027. 🔜 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Proposed classifications for ingredients like Decyl Alcohol and Cannabidiol as irritants and reproductive toxicants will shape formulations in the coming years. 🛑 𝗛𝗲𝘅𝘆𝗹 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 & 𝗣𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗹𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Concentration limits for certain ingredients are now tighter, ensuring safer use in cosmetics, especially for vulnerable populations like children. 🌱𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗻: The Regulation (EU) 2023/2055 now restricts microplastics in cosmetics, with full implementation by 2029 for leave-on products and mandatory labeling by 2031. 🔍𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂? It’s crucial for businesses to evaluate product formulations and ingredient sourcing to ensure compliance with these new regulations.
