Meet our Chief Financial Officer, Fabián Pulido Díaz 💼📊 At StubHub, it’s our people who make everything possible! Today, we’re thrilled to introduce one of the key players driving our success—our CFO. Get to know Fabián better... What are your roles and responsibilities? My main role as SHI CFO in the last few years has been to turn around the company after the pandemic, drive it to profitability and thereafter to vigorous growth and scalability. It's exciting to see the transformation SHI has completed in record time and I am proud to see the results. On a day-to-day basis, I am responsible for managing EBITDA and cash and ensuring financial and operational excellence in everything we do, although the most rewarding part of my job is definitely the strategic thinking and future scenario planning. Which amazing day or moment at work will you never forget? SHI is one of the best rides of my professional life: I fondly remember my first interviews with Digital Fuel Capital, our Private Equity owners and the fast-paced, sharp-thinking style, also every annual Gameplan event presenting strategy and budget to all employees has been an adrenaline and motivation boost (totally recommended!) and finally all the little moments and victories that have taken us where we are today as a human group. What’s your best memory at a live event? It would be difficult to single out only one memorable event as there have been so many to remember: my hometown soccer club opening game last season, an astounding The Cure show in London many years ago, an intimate Heather Nova gig at Cathouse in Glasgow, Chambao at Castillo Sohail as the sun set over the sea... but perhaps, my most memorable live event was in 1999 at Shepherd Bush in London astonished by the raw power and energy of Siouxsie and the Banshees playing live... mind blowing!!
