👏 Proud Moment for the Robotics Developer Masterclass Student! We’re thrilled to see our graduate, Andrés Leonardo, deliver an impressive robotics project during his internship at Asimovo! 🌟🚀 👇🏽 Check out his demo of robot navigation with Nav2 and Behavior Trees for a beach-cleaning robot project—it’s truly inspiring. Let’s move on to the Job Hunting phase and turn your dream job into reality! 🌟
Hello everyone! 🤖 👋 Today I finished my internship at Asimovo, which was a great experience in which I learned a lot and put into practice everything I learned during The Construct Robotics Institute masterclass. I am very grateful because working in robotics is a dream fulfilled, and I want to continue living it. I share a video of the newest thing I learned and implemented during the internship: "Behavior Trees". I made a demo of when the robot navigates through different waypoints (NAV2) inspecting the environment at all times (yolov11), if a person is detected the robot stops for a few seconds before resuming its mission. The project is related to a robot that will collect garbage from the beaches, so there would be other behavior nodes (BehaviorTree.ROS2) that would be in charge of approaching and collecting the residues. On the other hand, if there are companies interested in hiring someone passionate for robotics, do not hesitate to contact me 🦾 Happy New Year! ⭐ #Moveit2 #YOLOv11 #ROS2 #BehaviorTrees #IgnitionFortress #Internship #robotics

Check out the successful story of Salvatore Volpe: from being a student to building his own robotics startup! The spotlight is yours, Salvatore! 🚀
𝐀 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 Hello everyone! My name is Salvatore Volpe, and today I want to share my journey: from being a student to becoming a professional in the field of robotics. After earning my degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2002, I realized over time that my thirst for learning and professional growth was far from over. This led me to enroll in the Master's degree in Mechatronics at Politecnico di Torino, where I discovered the fascinating world of robotics. I’ll never forget my first encounter with ROS1 (Robot Operating System) during Professor Bona’s Robotics course—this was the beginning of my passion for this technology. In 2016, after struggling to find reliable learning resources, I came across 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭'𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞. It was like a breakthrough! I started taking remote courses and, in 2022, I eagerly joined the 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬! The masterclass made a real difference. The well-structured program, practical exercises, and real-world challenges prepared me for the robotics industry. This became particularly evident during my internship at Akara Robotics, where I applied my knowledge, solved complex problems, and grew professionally. The connection with TheConstruct didn’t stop there. We currently have an enterprise license and are developing 𝐉𝟏𝟔𝐌𝐎𝐓𝐎 on the 𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐉𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦, continuing to leverage the advanced resources TheConstruct offers to improve our work. The journey was not easy, but determination and commitment paid off. If there's one thing I've learned, it’s that continuous learning and perseverance are key. My advice to anyone on a similar path? Take every opportunity to learn, stay curious, and always strive to improve. Organization is essential: relying on methodologies like 𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐔𝐌 helps stay on track. I want to thank TheConstruct, especially Ricardo Tellez, Alberto Ezquerro Baraibar, and Miguel Angel Rodriguez Martinez, for their guidance. A special thanks to Niamh Donnelly and the Akara Robotics team for an unforgettable internship experience, and to my amazing colleagues at MOTO Mechatronics, Abdelrahman Thabet and Mohamed Alaa, for their valuable contributions. Robotics is a constantly evolving field, and I look forward to seeing what the future holds! 🚀 https://lnkd.in/d862752E
