🚨 AI MythBusters #3: AI equals Robots 🚨   And we're back with a new entry to the AI MythBusters series! This time, are AI and robots the same thing?   It is a common misconception that these concepts are synonymous. The truth is, while they can intersect, they are distinct entities. Let's break it down:   🤖 What is robotics? Robotics involves designing, building, and programming physical machines—robots—that can perform tasks in the real world. These machines may operate autonomously or be controlled by humans. Not all robots possess AI; many function based on pre-defined instructions and lack any learning capabilities.   🧠 What is AI? Artificial Intelligence refers to the development of computer systems capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence, such as learning, problem-solving, and decision-making support. AI exists primarily in software form and can be integrated into various applications beyond robotics, including data analysis, natural language processing, and many more.   🔄 And where do they intersect? When AI is embedded into robots, it enables them to perform complex tasks, adapt to new situations, and learn from experiences. However, this integration represents just a fraction of AI's applications. AI technologies are widely used in industries such as healthcare, finance, and entertainment, independent of any robotic hardware.   💡 Understanding the difference between AI and robotics is crucial. While they can complement each other, they are not the same.
