✨ FOREU4ALL onsite General Forum was successfully held today in Brussels 100 coordinators from European Universities alliances were brought together to discuss key opportunities, challenges and milestones to shape our collaborations. A central theme was the crucial role of the European Commission's commitment in ensuring the long-term success of the #EuropeanUniversities initiative. Some discussions focused on: ✅ The Polish Presidency event in June ✅ The Union of Skills ✅ The European Degree ✅ Investment pathways for sustainable and impactful alliances #FOREU4ALL is a powerful platform for fostering collaboration, strengthening alliances, and advancing the European Higher Education agenda. 𝐔𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐢𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢! 🇫🇮 Our Mobility Steering Committee members and Local Mobility Officers from across all Ulysseus partner universities have gathered at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences' Pasila Campus to strengthen our mobility formats and collaboration. 📅 Day one kicked off with opening remarks from Ulysseus Project Director Kitte Marttinen, followed by mobility monitoring updates and productive workshops on physical mobility implementation. The day concluded with strategic parallel sessions for our governance teams. 🔄 Day two focuses on our blended and virtual mobility opportunities, implementation planning, and enhancing staff mobility opportunities across the alliance. We're also exploring synergies between mobility initiatives and other Ulysseus work packages. Last February 21 marked the conclusion of an exciting Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on the advancements and applications of wearable technology, hosted by the Università degli Studi di Genova in a hybrid format!     As part of the Ulysseus Academic Offer, this dynamic course gave students a unique opportunity to dive into the world of wearable tech, exploring its innovations, uses, and real-world impact.    From a hands-on, team-based approach, students had the opportunity to learn more about robotics and how to work with data using computer engineering. 🔎 How can universities, industry & authorities work together for a greener future? The Ulysseus Innovation Hub on Sustainable Energy, Transport and Mobility for Smart Cities held its First Local Steering Committee Meeting at the University of Seville. This milestone event brought together academia, industry, and public authorities to shape the future of urban innovation. Key discussions focused on aligning strategic priorities, fostering collaboration, and identifying challenges in energy, transport, and mobility. The Local Steering Committee plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Innovation Hub's initiatives respond to real-world needs. PATH Project has officially launched! 🎉 On 12 February 2025, Ulysseus European University kicked off this ambitious initiative aimed at revolutionizing career guidance services through ethical AI. Led by Universidad de Sevilla (Spain) and supported by Erasmus+ funding, PATH brings together six top universities across Europe to develop an AI-powered tool that will enhance career services for students and professionals. The project includes the participation of Université Côte d'Azur (France), Università degli Studi di Genova (Italy), Technical University of Košice (Slovakia), Management Center Innsbruck (Austria), and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences (Finland). Over the next 30 months, PATH will foster collaboration with key stakeholders, advance AI research, and pave the way for a smarter, more ethical approach to career guidance.
