Last week, we inaugurated our Bordeaux–Brussels Charleroi connection! ✈️ This new route strengthens our presence in Bordeaux, where we now operate 35 routes across 9 countries, and expands our network from Brussels Charleroi, marking our second connection to France. 🇫🇷🇧🇪   With over 26,000 seats available and twice-weekly flights, we’re making travel between southwestern France and Belgium more convenient than ever. Today, we celebrated an important milestone at Aéroport Brest Bretagne—reaching 1 million passengers! 🎉 Our France Country Manager, Gilles GOSSELIN, and Brest Airport Director, Claude ARPHEXAD, met Typhaine Cadalen, our 1 millionth passenger, who was traveling on our Brest–London Gatwick flight this morning and the lucky winner of free flights with us for a year. To further mark the occasion, all passengers on the flight enjoyed a special breakfast and gifts before boarding. ☕ This year, we’re increasing our capacity at Brest Airport with over 425,000 seats available, a 22% growth compared to 2024. Our network will expand to 20 destinations, including a newly announced route to Heraklion, Greece, launching in April. Last week, a group of Voloteans from our headquarters had the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at airport operations and our own airline operations at Barcelona-El Prat. Our visit started at the airport's control center, where teams work closely to ensure daily operations run smoothly—from aircraft stand assignments to coordination of baggage and overall logistics. 🛫🏢   We then joined our ground handling team to follow the turnaround of one of our flights, seeing firsthand the coordination and quick decision-making behind every arrival and departure.   Thank you to Aena for the visit and to our incredible team for sharing their expertise—an experience that deepened our appreciation for everything that happens on the ground to keep our passengers moving. 👏🏼   #Volotea #BarcelonaElPratAirport #AirlineOperations #Aviation

Yesterday in Madrid, our Founder and CEO Carlos Muñoz, alongside CFO Stephen Rapp, presented Volotea’s 2024 positive financial results. We achieved €811 million in revenue, a 17% increase from 2023, with €148 million in EBITDA (18% margin, up 4 percentage points vs. 2023) and €35 million in EBIT (5% margin, up 4 percentage points vs. 2023). These results mark 2024 as the most profitable year in our history. 📈   Carlos highlighted the strength of our business model and flexible strategy, which were further supported by an agreement to carry out a capital increase of up to €100 million. The first €50 million was contributed in September 2024 by existing shareholders, our management team, and Aegean Airlines. As part of this agreement, prominent U.S. investors PAR Capital and Hill City, well-known for investments in airlines such as Delta, United, Allegiant, Southwest, and JetBlue, also joined Volotea’s shareholder base. Reflecting on these achievements and plans for the future, Carlos shared: "2024 marks our second consecutive year of operating profit, driven by the strength of our operations and strong demand across Europe, despite global challenges. The outlook for 2025 is very promising, with substantial margin improvements anticipated. This week, we attended CONNECT Aviation - Route Development Forum in Girona (Spain), an event bringing together airlines, airports, and destinations to network and define future air services. We had the chance to meet with our partners, connect with prospective ones, and explore new ways to enhance the travel experience for passengers while expanding our network across Europe. We were also honored to participate in two roundtable discussions on the future of aviation: ✈️ Carlos Muñoz, our Founder and CEO, had a one-on-one conversation with John Strickland, Director of JLS Consulting. Drawing from over 20 years of industry experience, Carlos shared insights into Volotea’s business model connecting small and mid-sized cities. He emphasized that France, Italy, and Spain remain our key markets, though we're always on the lookout for opportunities that may arise in new regions. Looking ahead, he shared that the next two years are expected to be a period of stability for the industry, with modest growth driven by the aircraft shortage, among other global factors. Additionally, ongoing airline consolidation processes could create new scenarios and opportunities. 🇪🇸 Gabriel Schmilovich, our Chief Strategy Officer, participated in a roundtable on "Unlocking opportunities in the Spanish market" alongside key representatives from other airlines. Gabriel highlighted the critical role Spain plays in European air connectivity and its strength as a top tourism destination. For Volotea, Spain is, and will continue to be, a key market, with over 3.3 million seats offered in 2024 and a forecasted capacity increase of +9% in 2025, reaching 3.6 million seats. Our International Market Director, Valeria Rebasti, shares insights into our 2024 performance and upcoming developments for our 2025 operations at Verona Airport in the video below. Last year, we welcomed 700,000 passengers—an 18% increase from 2023—employed over 90 people, and achieved an NPS of 48.9, the highest among our Italian bases. We also made progress in punctuality, reaching an OTP15 (on-time performance within 15 minutes) of 79% in Verona. In 2025, we will base two aircraft in Verona and operate 14 destinations across five countries: Italy, Spain, Greece, France, and Germany. This includes increased frequencies to Paris-Orly from April, making them daily, and boosting flights to Barcelona to five times per week. Last week, our Founder & CEO, Carlos Muñoz, was honored with the "Outstanding Business Project" award at the 2024 ICADE Asociacion Profesional Awards, recognizing Volotea's journey. ✈️ Carlos is a graduate of ICADE, earning a degree in Economics and Finance in 1992. In his speech, Carlos shared his passion for entrepreneurship and our mission at Volotea: connecting small and mid-sized cities across Europe. He highlighted the values that have guided him and the team in this journey: self-confidence—the belief in your ability to achieve your goals; trust in the people you work with and their contributions to the project, along with the ability to engage and delegate effectively; and perseverance to stay the course while adapting strategy to market preferences, especially in the early years. Carlos also took a moment to thank his family: “My gratitude goes to my parents, my wife, and my children.
