European Model United Nations (EuroMUN) 2015
EuroMUN 2015 was a simulation of several bodies of mainly the UN and the EU. Like the previous year I participated in the European Parliament. The EP dealt with two different regulations regarding the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and the European Social Fund, simulating both, the Ordinary Legislative Procedure for the ESF and the Special Legislative Procedure for the TTIP. For this the EP had to work with the Council of Ministers to pass new legislations. I was assigned the…

The EP dealt with two different regulations regarding the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership and the European Social Fund, simulating both, the Ordinary Legislative Procedure for the ESF and the Special Legislative Procedure for the TTIP. For this the EP had to work with the Council of Ministers to pass new legislations. I was assigned the role of a MEP in the Greens/EFA faction from the UK and had to represent the interests of the SNP in the EU.
