Finance Controller

Position Overview:

As a Finance Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial health and operational efficiency of our organization. You will be responsible for developing and monitoring financial plans, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition standards, and preparing monthly and quarterly reports for the Board. By managing the Revenue recognition process, analyzing key SaaS metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting, you will provide strategic insights to drive informed decision-making. You will support the Finance Team with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and audit processes, contributing to the overall success of our finance operations in a fast-paced SaaS environment. Additionally, you will support the CEO with investors relationships and interactions with Shareholders and BoD.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: Assist in developing and monitoring financial plans and budgets. Collaborate with various teams to create budgets, conduct regular variance analysis, and update forecasts.
• Accounting: Maintain accurate records of clients projects and contracts, ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards, oversee billing and subscription management processes, and monitor and control expenses to support profitability.
• Investment Analysis: Evaluate potential investment opportunities, conduct ROI analysis, maintain and analyze the cap table, and provide recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
• Analysis: Evaluate and analyze key SaaS metrics to support informed decision-making.
• Financial Control: Assist other Finance Team members with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, modeling, audit processes, and other related tasks.
• Investors Relationships: Address requests from investors, shareholders and Board members, support CEO in his communication towards stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Experience in financial planning and reporting
• SaaS and Cost based Revenue recognition
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Good understanding of Cap tables and investment metrics. Experience in process implementation
• Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel and Power Point
• High level of English (both written and spoken) is essential
• Experience of NetSuite ERP
• 8+ years of relevant experience
