#RacingForValencia: tickets, fan events and fundraisers planned for the Solidarity GP #MotoGP has announced that the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will host the 2024 finale, and that it will be an event that makes a difference: the Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona. The Championship is on the line, the sporting spectacle is guaranteed, and so is the positive impact for the Community of Valencia as MotoGP™ unites to aid those in need. Here are some of the initiatives planned as we go #RacingForValencia. 🎟️ TICKETS Tickets for the Solidarity GP are now on sale here 👉 https://lnkd.in/dUSbEhnG and over 30,000 have already sold in the first 24 hours! Barcelona was chosen as the venue for the finale in no small part thinking of fans who had made plans to come to Valencia, and they can now secure new tickets for the final round of 2024. Valencia will be offering full refunds or rollover tickets for 2025. Ticket proceeds from the #SolidarityGP will go directly to Valencia relief funds, so fans know that just being in Barcelona to see sporting history made is also a direct contribution to recovery efforts in the neighbouring Community of Valencia. 📣 AUCTIONS We’ll have three auctions across the weekend – two onsite and one online. The onsite auctions will be on Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 6pm local time and be held in the fanzone at the circuit. MotoGP™ riders will be taking to the stage, joined by Legends and VIPs, to auction some of the incredible items donated from across the paddock. Fans from around the world can also take part in the online auction, where we have some true one-of-a-kind lots up for grabs in aid of the cause – we’re talking Maverick Viñales’ Moto3™ Championship-winning bike as one of the first items put forward. More details on the online auction, including a full list of items as well as start and end dates, will be available soon. Fans who want to attend the onsite auctions can do so if they're at the GP with any weekend ticket. 💵 DONATIONS Can’t be there, can’t take part in the auction, but want to be part of it? We’ll also be producing a special #RacingForValencia t-shirt, with proceeds going directly to the relief effort. Many in the paddock have also already donated and will continue to do so. The proceeds from the Solidarity GP, from ticket sales to the funds raised by the auctions and standalone donations, will be centralised into a specific MotoGP™ donation system thanks to our collaboration with CaixaBank. The MotoGP™ funds will then be donated to La Cruz Roja (Red Cross), who are working on the ground in the Community of Valencia, with the target of helping the towns closest to the circuit. To donate directly to the MotoGP™ fund now, follow this link 👉 https://lnkd.in/dwZuhze6 and stay tuned for more information on the auction items up for grabs in aid of Valencia as we get closer to the Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona.

Barcelona to welcome the 2024 MotoGP™ finale 🏁 Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya set to host the MOTUL Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona from the 15th to the 17th of November 🗓️ MotoGP™ can now confirm the 2024 curtain closer will be held in Barcelona. We will return to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where the World Championship will be decided, on the original dates of the season finale: the 15th to the 17th of November. The Grand Prix will be held in solidarity with the Community of Valencia. The event was previously set to take place in Valencia before the devastating flooding that has impacted the region so heavily. Being the last Grand Prix of the season, the sporting context the Championship is in, and the positive impact the event has, we owe it to the our fans, our paddock, the sport, and Valencia to hold the event. Instead of racing in Valencia, #MotoGP will race for Valencia. For all those affected, and the entire Community of Valencia. MotoGP™ made the request to the authorities to race in Barcelona as it was the best possible choice. The track is the easiest option for fans who were already planning to attend the MotoGP™ season finale. The location and circuit are also the most efficient choice, providing a close to seamless alternative for personnel and logistics. The event will be organised by MotoGP™ and we remain committed to our mission to have a positive impact on people, place and planet wherever we race. In this case, racing near the Community of Valencia will also allow the paddock to put that into action even more directly. More information for fans who wish to attend to see the 2024 title fight decided will be shared as soon as possible, as well as the various initiatives which will be held through the weekend to support relief for Valencia. Join us in Barcelona from the 15th to 17th of November for an unforgettable finale, #RacingForValencia

2024 Valencia GP will not go ahead, replacement to be confirmed MotoGP stands with the Community of Valencia following the devastating floods that have affected the area. Our hearts are with all those who have been lost and those who have lost so much. We have been in constant contact with the local authorities and the circuit to best assess how we can help and how we should proceed. We have a responsibility to every region where we race that goes far beyond the sport and the events. After carefully weighing up the potential positive impact of MotoGP racing in Valencia on delayed dates versus ensuring no single resource is diverted from the recovery efforts by the presence of MotoGP, the championship and local authorities have been obliged to cancel the 2024 Valencia GP. In lieu of racing in Valencia, MotoGP will instead race for Valencia. The championship will put our collective efforts behind backing the relief funds already in place to ensure our positive impact can connect with the area in the way it best serves the people and communities we have been part of for so long. Our efforts will begin during the Malaysian GP and continue at the final round of 2024, with a new venue and dates to be announced as soon as confirmed. Fans around the world, our athletes, and paddock deserve a sporting finale to the 2024 season, and one that can make a key contribution to supporting the communities we race in. Any further information regarding the season finale will be confirmed as soon as possible.
