Ecotao Lodge

A different experience from your conventional hotel, but amazing. Nice staff, nice food in the restaurant, nice pool. Great, private taxi service to the town/beaches. We felt like we were in the tree tops in the bamboo structure rooms. Don't forget your mosquito spray, and cover up in the evening.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Kao Tao Eco Lodge, and we must say that everything went smoothly and was perfect. What struck us at first sight was the lodge's eco-friendly design. It seamlessly blended into the natural environment, with locally sourced materials and an architecture that perfectly complemented the beautiful surrounding landscape. It was evident that great care had been taken to minimize the lodge's ecological footprint without compromising on comfort. The staff at Kao Tao Eco Lodge were warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The food was an absolute delight and the accommodations were very nicely furnished with stunning view of the surroundings. It was a haven of tranquility and serenity, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. A huge thank you to the owner Yves and his team for this wonderful experience. This hotel has stunning views and a FANTASTIC swimming pool. The staff is very friendly and speaks perfect English, which is very much appreciated. The breakfast buffet we had included was delicious, and we also had lunch and dinner there since the food is very fresh and tasty. Our cottage was AMAZING, fully equipped, and with spectacular views from our terrace. The cottages provide a lot of privacy, even on the terrace. Totally recommended!!! P.S. When we arrived, the staff recommended us some trips; we chose the snorkel trip and it was the best snorkel ever!!! ……………………………….. Este hotel tiene unas vistas increíbles sobre el mar desde la piscina. El personal es muy amable y habla inglés perfectamente. El desayuno buffet que teníamos incluido estaba delicioso, pero también comimos y cenamos en el hotel ya que la comida era espectacular. Nuestra cabaña no podía ser más bonita, totalmente equipada y con vistas espectaculares desde nuestra terraza. Mucha privacidad, incluso en la terraza. Totalmente recomendable!! P.D.: al hacer el check-in el personal nos recomendó varias excursiones, lo cual agradecimos mucho ya que no teníamos ningún plan; elegimos la excursión de snorkel y fue todo un acierto!!!!

It's a peaceful place. It is dazzling with its architecture in harmony with nature in the forest. You fall asleep to the sound of birds and wake up with the sound of birds. You feel yourself on the trees while swimming in the pool. The breakfast is very good and delicious. All employees are very helpful and friendly.
