La polvo de arroz del desayuno es muy deliciosa, el pequeño y hermoso patio. super convenient. The service was great from the staff. Although location was a bit confusing to find, the staff came out and led our driver to the right place for check in. You can see Cangshan and erhai from the apartment. There's not a lot of food places around as the apartment is on a small mountain apartment complex. However ordering take out is very convenient from your room. Overall a great stay.

AAllen HaimingJust spent a wonderful five nights at the Anyu Hotel in Dali in November, this beautifully appointed boutique hotel was so charming. From the warm lights, to the rich hardwood floors, ceilings, and furniture to all the thoughtful accents in the room and common areas, it felt like a charming and cozy home away from home.
Hotel location is fantastic, just steps away from the Dali Ancient Town, so everything from cafes, top restaurants, pharmacies, markets, bars, and hundreds of other stores and outdoor vendors are just a 2-10 minute walk away, no need to sit in traffic or call a car to get around.
Bed and pillows very comfortable, showerhead very powerful so makes for a very luxurious shower.
However, the best thing about the hotel is their warm and caring staff.
Nancy, one of the cleaning staff, was always super helpful and attentive and delightful to chat with, and was also kind enough to give us some great recommendations on places to visit which we ended up enjoying very much.
Anna was also very nice to interact with, her gentle and pleasant demeanor and thoughtful words always made it a pleasure to see her.
Candy was wonderful as well, always making sure we were attended to and ended up making some great recommendations on places to eat nearby. Her warm smile and kind demeanor will be remembered.
Finally, it was Vivian who we owe a deep debt of gratitude to. On the first day, my 84-year old Mom came down with an illness which included all sorts of symptoms. Vivian went out of her way to call a car and she accompanied us to the nearest hospital where she helped us fill out all the necessary paperwork and stayed by Mom's side for over an hour as we waited to see a doctor. Medication was prescribed and she called another car to take us back to the hotel while she went to a nearby pharmacy to pick up the medication for us which she then brought back to the hotel. By then it was well into the night and she had even taken us to the hospital when she was already off work, so this was all on her own time.
My Mom ended up making a recovery in large part to Vivian's quick and incredibly kind actions. She really went above and beyond and we are just so grateful to her and Anyu Hotel for helping to save my Mom.
Vivian was also an absolute pleasure to talk to as she always came over to greet us and chat everyday during our stay. Her warm smile, cheerful disposition, and charismatic yet humble personality always made every interaction a real pleasure. The hospitality we experienced from her will never be forgotten and feel very fortunate to have met someone with such a kind heart and also very high EQ and dedication. We know if we had stayed at a different hotel there is no way we would have experienced this level of hospitality so we are deeply appreciative for Vivian and the entire staff at Anyu for making our trip one that won't be forgotten.

JJamieOur experience at Pullman Dali was a mix of highs and lows, with some exceptional staff and several areas that fell short of expectations for an Accor hotel.
The Good: We were fortunate to receive excellent service from Ms. Eleven and Mr. Herman, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Their kindness and attentiveness, especially when our child fell sick during the stay, were truly commendable. They provided all the assistance we needed, making a challenging situation much more manageable. Additionally, the café staff member, Mona, stood out for her patience and friendly attitude.
The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet the standards we expect from an Accor hotel. Communication was a significant challenge, as many of the local staff struggled with English, making it difficult to get basic information or assistance.
The hotel seems to cater primarily to local Chinese guests, which greatly influenced the atmosphere. The breakfast area was chaotic and crowded, and the variety and taste of the food left much to be desired. While Mona was polite and helpful, other staff displayed a dismissive and arrogant attitude. For instance, when we inquired about some of the local breakfast items, the response was abrupt and unwelcoming, as if they didn’t care whether we ate or not.
Additionally, breakfast ended strictly at 10:30 AM. While I was still taking food from the buffet, the staff turned off the lights and removed the trays right in front of me without any warning. It felt extremely inconsiderate and left a poor impression.
Other Observations: The location of the hotel is convenient, and the rooms are decent. However, the overall experience may be more suited to local Chinese guests rather than international travelers expecting global standards of service and hospitality.
Final Thoughts: While there were shining moments thanks to a few outstanding staff members, the overall experience at Pullman Dali did not live up to the reputation of the Accor brand. If you are an international guest seeking a more service-oriented stay, you might want to consider other options.

UUsuario invitadoThe staff was super friendly. We have 2 large luggages and he was willing to carry both on the way walking to the hotel. The room is very clean and has a minimal design. Super chill. The view is perfect, we could clearly see the mountains and ancient buildings. At night, the place is very quiet even though there is a market outside, super nice place. I really love this hotel and would love to come back

UUsuario invitadoThe best hotel experience of this trip is mainly due to the hotel's service. The butler, Liu, is very attentive and meticulous, which is the best service I've ever experienced. Super awesome!!! The hotel scenery is beautiful, located on the edge of Shuanglang Scenic Area, and every angle is very photogenic. The room facilities are complete and considerate, and there are very complete supplies for children, clean and tidy. There is a fruit plate when we arrive. In the evening, they also send good night milk, and the children really like the kittens in the shop. Butler Liu introduced the surrounding attractions, delicious food, and matters needing attention in detail, really considering for customers, and the experience is super good. Next time I come to Dali, I will stay here again👍

VVinhLNos encantó nuestra estancia en este hotel y sin duda volveremos si tenemos la oportunidad de visitar Dali de nuevo (¡y esperamos hacerlo!). La ubicación es perfecta, justo al lado del casco antiguo de Dali con impresionantes vistas de la montaña Cangshan. Nuestra habitación estaba muy limpia, era acogedora y estaba equipada con instalaciones nuevas, modernas y de alta gama. ¡Incluso nos ascendieron a una categoría de habitación mejor de forma gratuita!
El servicio fue realmente excepcional, uno de los mejores que hemos experimentado. El propietario hizo todo lo posible para garantizar que tuviéramos una estancia maravillosa. Nos recibió con una tetera y un delicioso pastel de rosas (una especialidad de Dali) mientras esperábamos a que nos dieran la habitación y, más tarde, nos sorprendió con fruta fresca entregada directamente en nuestra habitación. Ddeci16I cannot recommend Sunyata Homestay in Dali enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience of genuine warmth and care. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a serene escape after long days of exploring. The afternoon tea and breakfast they served were nothing short of extraordinary. I’ve stayed in multiple 4-5 star hotels across China over the past month, but the gourmet food here easily surpassed them all. Every bite was thoughtfully prepared, leaving me in awe of the flavors and quality.
The location of Sunyata Homestay is also perfect. It’s just far enough from the bustling crowds to remain peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to Dali Ancient City that it’s only a few steps away from great eateries and the heart of the ancient town. The balance is ideal for anyone seeking convenience without sacrificing tranquility.
A special shout-out to the young lady working in the coffee shop up front—her coffee is unparalleled! My husband, who is a daily coffee drinker and rarely impressed, couldn’t stop raving about her brews. It was, hands down, the best coffee we had during our travels.
The staff here deserve every bit of praise. They were attentive, accommodating, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. However, what truly sets Sunyata apart is the incredible owner. My father had a bad accident in Dali on a rainy day, and I can honestly say I don’t know what I would have done without his support. Despite my limited Mandarin, he spent an entire day accompanying me to the hospital, ensuring we were well cared for and understood. The next day, he went out of his way to pick up the CT scans for us. His kindness and compassion left me speechless.
The owner’s dedication to his guests is reflected in his amazing team, all of whom go above and beyond. Without his help, I would have had to cut my trip to China short. Instead, he turned a difficult situation into one where we felt supported and cared for like family.
Sunyata Homestay is truly one of a kind, and I will forever be grateful for their hospitality. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a haven of comfort, care, and culinary delights. Thank you, Sunyata, for everything!

There was a bit of misunderstanding over which room we booked, which I take to be the result of language communication between Trip.com and the hotel. But the manager was very sweet and Accommodating. The rooms are lovely and it’s in a good location in the old city but relatively quiet.
