🌟Visit on a Sunny Day: Make sure to choose a day with good sunshine to get the best photos; cloudy weather might affect the view.

🌟Getting There: Search for "Carmel Bunkers" on Google Maps. It's best to take a taxi directly to the highest point because walking up can be a real challenge. The path is steep, and the climb can be exhausting.

🌟Sunset Times: In summer, sunsets are around 10 PM, making it hard to get a taxi back. Note down your driver's phone number for the return trip; they can reach you from the city center in about 20 minutes. Just call 20 minutes before you need to leave. (Barcelona taxi drivers are friendly, and you can use translation apps if there's a language barrier.)

In the evenings, many locals sit at the bunkers to enjoy the view and play music, creating a lovely atmosphere perfect for capturing beautiful cultural shots!

The fruit cups and various juices are also very fresh; the watermelon juice is incredibly delicious—definitely one of my favorites! You can find seafood here as well, but if you come in the afternoon, many items might be sold out. In the morning, you'll see an array of fresh fish, shrimp, and razor clams that look absolutely tempting!

Transportation is efficient and travel is easy. There are many tourist attractions, including excellent architecture, beautiful beaches, and one of the world’s top football clubs as FC Barcelona. Anyone who visits this city will surely want to return.

รีวิวนี้จะพามาชมโรงแรม "Kimpton Vividora" โรงแรมบูทีคสุดหรูในเครือ IHG ที่โดดเด่นในเรื่องของการนำเอกลักษณ์ของแต่ละพื้นที่นั้นๆ มาผสมผสานเข้ากับการออกแบบของโรงแรม โดยจุดเด่นของ Kimpton Vividora นอกจากดีไซน์ที่ยังคงความเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของสถาปัตยกรรมในย่านเมืองเก่าอย่าง Plaça de Cataluya ทำให้โรงแรมนี้กลมกลืนไปกับอาคารรอบด้านแล้ว การบริการ และความสะดวกสบายในเรื่องของทำเลก็เป็นจุดเด่นที่ทำให้เราตัดสินใจเลือกเข้าพักในโรงแรมนี้ ตลอด 3 วัน 2 คืนในทริปบาเซโลน่าที่ผ่านมา และที่นี่ยังเป็นโรงแรม Kimpton แห่งแรกในประเทศสเปนอีกด้วย

โรงแรมนี้เปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่ช่วงต้นปี 2020 โดยทำเลของโรงแรมนั้นอยู่ในเขต Plaça de Cataluya จตุรัสใจกลางเมืองซึ่งเป็นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวและย่านช็อปปิ้งหลักของเมืองบาเซโลน่า การเดินทางจากสนามบิน วิธีที่เราแนะนำคือการนั่งรถบัสสาย A2 จากสนามบิน Barcelona-El Prat ใช้เวลาประมาณ 40 นาทีมาลงที่ Plaça Cataluya - Fontanella ซึ่งเป็นป้ายสุดท้าย จากนั้นเดินต่อมาที่โรงแรมประมาณ 400 เมตร โดยระหว่างทางเดินจะเป็นร้านค้าต่างๆ ไม่เปลี่ยว แต่อาจจะมีคนพลุกพล่านพอสมควร จากโรงแรมสามารถเดินไปถนนคนเดิน La Rambla ในระยะประมาณ 300 เมตร มีสถานีรถไฟใต้ดินและป้ายรถบัสหลากหลายสาย ทำให้การเดินทางท่องเที่ยวในบาเซโลน่าเป็นเรื่องง่ายและสะดวกสบายมาก

เข้ามาภายในโรงแรมจะพบกับโถง Lobby ขนาดใหญ่ ตกแต่งด้วยสีสันที่สดใส และจะพบกับ café "GOT" คาเฟ่และบาร์ที่จะให้บริการทั้งกาแฟ ค็อกเทลตั้งแต่ 8 โมงเช้าจนถึงเที่ยงคืน เมื่อเราไปถึงก็มีพนักงานเข้ามาต้อนรับเป็นอย่างดี และนำเราไป check-in ที่ชั้น M ซึ่งมีเคาน์เตอร์ Reception อยู่โซนนั้น 

ห้องพักของที่นี่มีหลาย Room type เริ่มด้วยห้อง City Single ขนาด 16 ตร.ม. สำหรับเข้าพักคนเดียว จนถึงห้อง Suite ซึ่งมีทั้ง 1 และ 2 ห้องนอน โดยแต่ละห้องก็จะมีจุดเด่นแตกต่างกันไป ห้องที่เราจองมานั้นเป็นห้อง 1 King Bed Essential Room ซึ่งเป็นห้องเริ่มต้นสำหรับการเข้าพัก 2 คน แต่ด้วยสิทธิ IHG Platinum ทำให้เราได้ upgrade มาเป็นห้อง 1 King Bed Premium with Balcony ซึ่งเป็นห้องที่เราอยากแนะนำว่าถ้าได้มาพัก อย่างน้อยก็ควรจะจองห้องนี้ เพราะจุดเด่นของห้องนี้คือ มีระเบียงที่เราสามารถออกไปชมวิว และถ่ายรูปด้านนอกได้ และยังเป็นห้อง Corner Room ทำให้ห้องโปร่งสบาย และมีพื้นที่ใช้สอยมากถึง 24 ตร.ม. ภายในห้องเข้ามาจะพบกับ Foyer สำหรับเปลี่ยนรองเท้าและวางกระเป๋าใหญ่ได้ มีห้องสุขาใกล้กับทางเข้า ต่อมาจะเป็น space กว้างที่เป็นพื้นที่ของเตียง King size, โต๊ะทำงาน, ราวแขวนเสื้อผ้า และโซน Minibar บริเวณด้านหลังเตียงด้านในสุดของห้องจะเป็นห้องอาบน้ำและซิงค์ล้างหน้าขนาดใหญ่ แยกไว้เป็นสัดส่วนอย่างดี

ในส่วนของ Facility นั้น มีทั้งส่วนของ Gym ที่เปิดให้บริการ 24 ชม. และ Rooftop Pool สระว่ายน้ำบนดาดฟ้า ที่สามารถมองเห็นวิวในบริเวณเมืองเก่าได้แบบ 360 องศา, Terraza de Vivi ร้านอาหารและ Rooftop bar ที่เปิดให้บริการอาหารและเครื่องดื่มตั้งแต่ 10.00 - 23.00 น. และ FAUNA Restaurant ร้านอาหาร all-day dining บริเวณชั้น 1 ของโรงแรมที่เสิร์ฟ breakfast สำหรับแขกที่เข้าพัก และเสิร์ฟอาหารตลอดทั้งวันสำหรับแขกภายนอกด้วย แต่เนื่องจากห้องพักของเราไม่ได้รวมอาหารเช้ามา เลยอาจจะไม่ได้รีวิวในส่วนนี้ให้ได้ชมกันนะครับ

โดยภาพรวมแล้ว ประสบการณ์การเข้าพักที่ Kimpton Vividora ตลอด 3 วัน 2 คืนของเรานั้น ค่อนข้างประทับใจมาก โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งการตกแต่งที่สวยงามของโรงแรม ทำเลที่สะดวกสบาย และที่เซอร์ไพรส์มากคือการบริการและความเอาใจใส่ของพนักงานในโรงแรม ซึ่งเราไม่คิดว่าจะได้เจอบรรยากาศแบบนี้กับการบริการในประเทศโซนยุโรปสักเท่าไร เลยอยากมาแนะนำสำหรับเพื่อนๆ ที่กำลังมองหาที่พักในเมืองบาเซโลน่ากันอยู่ สำหรับราคาช่วงที่เราพักอยู่ที่ประมาณ 260-280 Euro / คืน (ราคาอาจแตกต่างกันไปตามช่วงเวลา)

Mecardo de la boqueria is one of the famous food market in Barcelona. In here, you can get tons of seafood, meat and even more tapas! As the picture you can see above, there is loads of seafood options for you to choose and the price is quite affordable. If you are a budget-traveller , you can get a good price for the seafood and enjoy eating. Moreover, this market provides loads of souvenir for tourism to bring back to their homes. CASTILLO DE MONTJUIC

At the top of Montjuic Hill, there is a wonderful place for a 360 panoramic view of the city of Barcelona, it is the Castle of Montjuic 🏰 

This place has a long history, it was used since the ancient times as a sighting post, and the current construction dates back to the end of 18th century.

It actually, has a bit of a dark history for the people of Barcelona, this is because the castle was used on several occasions as a prison and during Spanish Civil War, after the victory of Franco troops and under his order here, the president of the Generalitat de Cataluña at the time, Lluis Companys, was killed. 

But besides its past, it now has become a beautiful spot to see Barcelona from the top, and even though the hike up here makes for a hard work out it is worth it (or you can choose to arrive here by bus or even a cable car from the port of Barcelona) 🚡 

Basic entrance fee to the castle is 5 euros 💶 

They also do events and activites, and actually, right outside the castle, in the evenings of the summer months they organize a weekly outdoor cinema, where they screen local as well as international films.

Basílica de la Sagrada Família, known as the Sagrada Familia, is an unfinished temple located in Barcelona. The Sagrada Familia is one of the most known architectural structures in the world. This unique church is a work of famous architect Antoni Gaudi. Its construction still continues after almost 140 years thanks to private donations and ticket sales. There are several reasons for this delay such as the resignation of the first architect Villar, Gaudi’s death and the destruction of the original plans and models. The architectural style of the Sagrada Familia is a combination of modern architecture, late gothic and art nouveau.

More than 100 years old history . Q&Q was found in 1914 . One of the best known tapas bar in Barcelona . It is run by the 4th generation the great grandson of the founder .Do keep in mind that a very small shop that is always full of local and tourist , so dinning time is allocates to each group max 60min . standing table only and they don’t not offer take away .they do have a larger assortement of bottle maybe more than 500 . that hanging on the wall of this bar . see pic for reference. as they do not have a kitchen you can see the food is prepare over the bar counter .
