Our recent stay at the apartment was overall a positive experience. The location was excellent, situated conveniently near the university, which was our primary objective. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, with shops downstairs offering various food options for our convenience. However, there were a few areas that could have been improved. Firstly, there was no daily cleaning service provided, which was a bit of a disappointment. Secondly, only one bath towel was provided, which was insufficient for our needs. On the first day of our stay, we were asked to wait due to a window being broken in the original booking, which although understandable, was still an inconvenience. The owner was polite and communicated effectively through phone, which was appreciated. The Ayi who was there to open the apartment for us was not as accommodating, however. She shouted at us for using one of the bath towels as a step-out mat from the shower, which we felt was an unnecessary reaction. Due to the fact that the tiles are slippery after showering,The shower itself was a bit inconvenient as it did not have doors, allowing water to easily flow out into the room but we managed to adjust the direction of the shower head and make it work. For future guests, we would recommend topping up the toilet rolls and toothpaste to ensure a more comfortable stay for three days . Overall, despite the few shortcomings, the apartment was comfortable and clean, and we would consider staying there again in the future.

Hotel was reasonably close to the train station, and within easy walking distance of several convenience stores. Hotel itself was clean, but I have several issues with my room. For starters, all the signage was backwards. The bathroom door said push when you should be pulling. The hot water was cold water and the cold water was hot. Small things like that. Bed's mattress was inclined to slip off the frame if you propped yourself up against the wall to read or something. The bathroom toilet was very high-tech, but the lights were on a motion-activated sensor, which meant the room went dark before I could finish even just draining the lizard, which saw me comically head-banging while urinating. The primary reason I booked this hotel was for the massive bathtub in the room. And yeah, when I sat in it, I could fully submerge myself. If the water ever filled the tub. But the drain plug wasn't working or something and the water drained out almost as quick as it was coming in, which meant filling the tub was slow. And I ran out of hot water before the water level went over my toes. Would still potentially stay here again. It was cheap and not uncomfortable. Also quite clean, with decent service from the cleaning staff and front desk.

Segunda vez: amable servicio de recepción a cargo de dos jóvenes entusiastas. El idioma fue una barrera y nos encontramos con un desafío interesante. Reservé y pagué por adelantado 2 habitaciones, o eso pensé. me dijeron que (1) no se mostraba ninguna reserva con el número de reserva que presenté. (2) Me recomendaron que llamara a C-Trip para verificar la reserva y obtener un reembolso. Después de una llamada a atención al cliente, y esperando a que verificaran (maravilloso servicio de atención al cliente), mi hija presentó nuestros pasaportes a los jóvenes y he aquí que descubrieron que nuestra reserva debía pagar un depósito en una habitación que había reservado. Sin embargo, luego me dijeron que: No había pagado por 2 habitaciones sino por una. Había pagado una habitación + tarifa de reserva y por eso necesitaba pagar otra habitación. Hemos superado todo con buen humor y con mucho entusiasmo por parte de los dos muchachos. Mi sugerencia sería tener una lista de verificación de qué hacer para el personal de recepción cuando llegan invitados de DJ domésticos o anteriores. solicitar nuestro DNI (pasaportes) con números de reserva (incluso si los ofrecen los huéspedes). Lo hace más fácil para el personal y los invitados. En retrospectiva, nuestra primera vez en este albergue, eso fue lo que hicieron las chicas. Todos aprendimos ese día: los controles son importantes 😁

I had a nice time in Lazy Bill's Hostel. The check-in counter staff were very patient even though we were communicating via a Translation app and even though I don't have a local number from a Chinese mobile network. Also, the coffee shop was located just inside the hostel and it was very convenient! The coffee was delicious. The staff were very serious when it comes to cleanliness. They cleaned the room where I stayed and they mop the room and clean the rest room every day. I could not say anything more. Will I stay here again? Definitely yes! They have a mini-convenience store inside the hostel for booze, juices and water. There were restaurants and bath houses in the area. There was also a nearby KFC! The only thing that had me worried was on my way back home because the station didn't have an escalator going down. I met a Chinese traveler of Korean descent and a local Chinese who speaks English. They were very kind. I wish to come back to Dalian and stay in Lazy Bill's Hostel once again.

The location was the most amazing thing about this hotel. It's ideally located in the Dalian Business District near the waterfront. There was so much to see near the Venice Oriental Harbor. The hotel is ok if you don't need meals. There's no restaurant so you'll have to order takeout. They do have cup noodles and drinks in the room at an extra cost. Also, the view is nice but only if you're on the higher floors, otherwise, you'll be very disappointed by the sight of the unfinished buildings that interfere with the beautiful seaview. The view is breathtaking once you're on the higher floors. I upgraded from the 9th floor to the 21st floor once I got there. Other than that, they were very accommodating, especially to me as a foreigner who spoke very little Chinese. They added me on WeChat and helped me with everything I need.
