On 22 October 2007, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of a Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 (1) by which the undertaking which the undertaking Compagnie de Saint-Gobain (‘Saint-Gobain’, France) acquires within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Council Regulation control of the whole of the undertaking Maxit (‘Maxit’, Sweden) by way of purchase of shares (2).

This notification has been declared incomplete on 21 November 2007. The undertakings concerned have now provided the further information required. The notification became complete within the meaning of Article 10(1) of Regulation (EC) No 139/2004 on 15 January 2008.
