DECISIÓN DEL CONSEJO
de 1 de enero de 2007
por la que se nombran miembros y suplentes búlgaros y rumanos del Comité de las Regiones
(2007/6/CE)
EL CONSEJO DE LA UNIÓN EUROPEA,
Visto el Tratado constitutivo de la Comunidad Europea y, en particular, su artículo 263, párrafo cuarto,
Vista el Acta de adhesión de Bulgaria y de Rumanía y, en particular, sus artículos 13 y 49,
Vistas las propuestas de los Gobiernos de la República de Bulgaria y de Rumanía,
Considerando lo siguiente:

Por Decisión 2006/116/CE del Consejo (1), se nombró a los miembros y suplentes del Comité de las Regiones para el período comprendido entre el 26 de enero de 2006 y el 25 de enero de 2010. |

(2) |
A raíz de la adhesión de la República de Bulgaria y de Rumanía a la Unión Europea, procede completar el Comité de las Regiones mediante el nombramiento de 27 miembros y 27 suplentes, representantes de los entes regionales y locales de los nuevos Estados miembros, que sean titulares de un mandato electoral de un ente regional o local, o que tengan responsabilidad política ante una asamblea elegida. |
DECIDE:
Artículo 1
Se nombran en el Comité de las Regiones, para el período comprendido hasta el 25 de enero de 2010:

como miembros, las personas cuya lista por cada Estado miembro figura en el anexo I, |
|
— |
como suplentes, las personas cuya lista por cada Estado miembro figura en el anexo II. |
Artículo 2
La presente Decisión surtirá efecto el día de su adopción.
Será aplicable a partir del 1 de enero de 2007.
Hecho en Bruselas, el 1 de enero de 2007.
