🚀 Exciting News 🚀    Thrilled to announce our latest investment in WEALTHON, a Warsaw-based FinTech that is transforming digital financial solutions and merchant operations for SMEs! 3TS led Wealthon’s €7m equity round alongside a group of early-stage investors, enabling the Company secure a new €116m (PLN 500m) debt financing facility from Fortress Investment Group. With this funding, Wealthon is expanding its ecosystem way beyond lending, equipping SMEs with efficient financing, payment solutions and business resource management tools to power their success. MAVOCO, a leading provider of Connectivity Management Software for the Internet of Things, has successfully closed its Series-A+ financing round, securing €11 million in equity from existing shareholders and new investors. The round was led by 3TS Capital Partners, red-stars.com, and other strategic investors, reaffirming strong confidence in MAVOCO’s growth potential in the telecom sector. 🌟 Catalyst Romania celebrated the thriving Romanian investment ecosystem at ROPEA Awards 🌟 Last night, we participated at the ROPEA event that brought together VC and PE funds, institutional investors, advisors, industry experts, investment professionals, and companies. It was a evening dedicated to the strength and maturity of the Romanian investment ecosystem. Catalyst Romania was nominated for the most active VC Fund Manager category, while our portfolio company ESX was nominated among the top 3 best-performing companies owned by a VC Fund, reflecting their remarkable growth and success. SmartBill exit was among the top 3 companies that were in the race for Deal of the Year. As the first VC Funds in Romania (the first Romanian VC Fund (and also the first Romanian second generation VC Fund), we’re proud to see how the ecosystem has evolved, and a big contributor for this development is the European Investment Fund (European Investment Fund (EIF)). EIF has supported nearly 20 funds in Romania, including our own Catalyst Romania Fund I through the Jeremie Initiative and Catalyst Romania Fund II through InnovFin Equity and Jeremie Reflows. Last evening we were also encouraged by the interest and commitment from other key institutions like IFC and EBRD to further support the VC and PE landscape, whose involvement is critical for sustaining local innovation. For Catalyst Romania, 2024 has been an exceptional year: 🚀2 new investments: Leanpay and Adapta Robotics 📈3 follow-on rounds: SeedBlink, Code Of Talent, and Hunch. 💡3 successful exits: SmartBill, Vola.ro (ITH) and 123FormBuilder—milestones that highlight the strength of our portfolio and strategy.
