💫 This is a true story about how transparency can lead to something extraordinary! So, how did it all start? As someone who enjoys discussing different situations with various people, Don Duma, our Business Systems Coordinator, noticed there wasn’t a shared translation mechanism when he needed one. Here’s what Don did: 💬 “I spoke to my supervisor about the issue. Knowing me well, she encouraged me to find out how it’s done and who to contact,” Don says. Determined to find a solution, Don started asking every department if they handled translations. Soon, names began to surface. 🎉 💬 “I contacted those people, and it was my first time speaking to some of them,” he recalls. Don explained the issue, asked numerous questions, and remained transparent about the objective. 💬 “Because of my transparency, they agreed to initiate a cross-functional project for a shared translation mechanism, sponsored by the Marketing and R&D directors.” 💬 “I have team members from various functions, and we are working together. I ensure that everyone is valued and appreciated.” Don emphasized that this wasn’t a “one-man project” but a team effort he simply facilitated. 💬 “This project isn’t just mine; it’s for the entire team.
