Construction dust has been known to cause severe health hazards, and quartz dust, especially during demolition work, is carcinogenic. Cramo has been part of a working group set up by Sitowise and eGate Smart Building Innovation e-gate.io, whose development work has taken great strides in dust control. The new measurement method offers the possibility to monitor the amount of construction dust in real time.

How does your company prepare for the future EU sustainability requirements?     The problem of increased carbon emissions will never be solved single-handedly. We need to partner up on this task to land in the best possible solution together. The Sustainability Committee, including some of the largest rental companies in Europe, met this week at the ERA headquarters to drive and align on social, environmental and governance initiatives. Future EU requirements on how to calculate scope 3 emissions within the fleet organization were discussed. The aim is to share knowledge and work on a solution together that can continue for many years to come. Through this we can focus on actions and innovations within the industry in a united way.
