Post of the day: Really good article by Fawad Bajwa from Russell Reynolds Associates This article provides a solid framework for deciding if a company needs a Chief AI Officer (CAIO) and where to position them. From my experience, these insights reflect many discussions I’ve had with leadership teams. However, one crucial point deserves more emphasis: AI leadership cannot rest solely on the CAIO. For AI initiatives to succeed, the entire leadership team, led by the CEO, must actively drive the AI agenda. The CEO should be the ultimate AI leader, integrating AI into the organization’s strategy and execution. In this setup, the CAIO becomes a powerful enabler. If the leadership team delegates full responsibility to the CAIO without full engagement, the risk of failure increases. AI is a strategic priority that requires collective ownership. A CAIO can be transformative—but only when the leadership team shares the vision and drives it forward. thx for sharing Jan! #aitransformation #aiforimpact #caio DAIN Studios

Applying #AI is no longer just a tech opportunity. It’s a business transformation and radical product innovation opportunity. Depending your organization’s strategy and ambitions, there are different roles and archetypes you can consider for or beyond a Chief AI Officer. Very valuable insights from my dear colleague Fawad Bajwa.
