Enento Group half year financial report published I Solid progress in Business Insight and cost efficiencies, but continued decline in consumer credit information. During the third quarter of 2024, Business Insights continued its solid performance, and we reached our Efficiency Program target. However, the consumer credit market in Sweden remained challenging through the third quarter of 2024 due to the weak market environment. Consumer credit volumes were also muted in Finland and consumer confidence remains low. The challenges in our Swedish and Finnish consumer credit information services resulted in lower net sales at the group level.    Highlights from Q3 2024 🔹 Solid progress in Business Insight, particularly in Finland and Norway  🔹 Consumer credit market remained challenging in Sweden and consumer credit volumes were also muted in Finland  🔹 Strong free cash flow and decision to pay the second dividend instalment to our shareholders  🔹 NPS from strategic and large customers remained on a good level      Efficiency Program target reached 🔹 Targeted 10 MEUR run-rate benefit impact fully achieved  🔹 IT infrastructure consolidation is proceeding and will be finalized in H1 2025    New services   🔹 Share of net sales from new services 16,6% improved from previous year (12,9%)  🔹 Improvement was driven by new services related to Swedish daily credit register, Finnish SME-offering modernisation and new real estate information services    Looking ahead Our current strategy continues to be valid, and we remain fully committed to delivering sustainable, profitable growth once the market conditions improve. We continue to closely monitor the market situation and anticipate that the difficult situation in consumer credit information continues in Sweden. We have seen stabilization in consumer credit volumes on a quarter-to-quarter basis in 2024, but it is not yet turning into sales growth.     We face margin pressure due to muted volumes, price increases of data, and sales mix impacts as we see highest growth in services that come with variable costs. The situation in Finland is also tough for consumer credit information, but development in Business Insight is more stable and helps to offset this. We have the right direction in our strategy execution and expect demand to stabilize, and hence keep outlook and guidance unchanged for 2024.    Full Q3 financial report available at enento.com/investors

Our payment default statistics show that over-indebtedness often begins early in life. To address this, we've offered financial literacy programs in Finland and Sweden since 2011, helping young adults manage their finances and avoid high-risk loans. 📊 We have developed the TarkkaFyrkka program for educational institutions in Finland. The purpose of TarkkaFyrkka is to create and share material about managing personal finances. In Finland, we have organized workshops and webinars for adults working with young people and created a free-of-charge material bank to support financial education. We have developed Tarkka Fyrkka with our partner Nuorten Akatemia since 2016, and the first joint workshops were held in 2017. 🎓 This year we have been developing a new TarkkaFyrkka video lesson. The idea behind these lessons is to provide educational institutions and those working with young people with easy-to-use materials for teaching personal finance. The material has been pre-tested in workshops and will be released soon. It will be available free of charge for educational use.     Within our The Bill program in Sweden, we have concentrated on offering our Kreditkollen service for free to individuals under 21 and on developing and distributing digital educational materials through our various partnership networks. These materials have been prepared in multiple languages, including Arabic, to reach a wider audience. 🌍 Our local collaboration partners include Alkompis, the largest Arabic news outlet in the Nordics; Fryshuset Foundation, a non-profit organization focusing on empowering young adults; and Gimi – Financial Superskills for Life, a financial application designed for children and young adults that features digital lessons and quizzes. 🤝 Read more in this article: https://lnkd.in/dJZYyhjZ 🔗 #Youth #YouthEmpowerment #sustainability

It was so great to have our managers from Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark in Helsinki for our annual Leadership day a couple of weeks ago 🙌 Our HR Director Sari summed up well the programme and relevance of the day, check out her post 👇

Two weeks ago we gathered all our leaders together for the annual Leadership day, to share, learn and network, this time in Helsinki. ✨ And what a great event it was! 😍 Thank you all Enento Group leaders for your contribution, without you it would not have been a success. We started the day with our reason for being by Jeanette Jäger and the impact we have on the society. And from that it was easy to move to the elements of our success as well as to 👏 celebrate our team successes from the H1. How great it was to see appr. 65 successes on the wall - "The Wall of Success" (in the picture below). And so important to hear also those achievements that sometimes might not be the obvious ones, thanks all for sharing and being proud of each other. We had also two external topics on the agenda: 🧠 Veera Virintie & Johanna Vilmi from Silta Education to guide us to better brain health and with that to better performance and wellbeing - Our Focus Tiger -program is about to start 🚀 💎 Henri Schildt from Aalto University with his keynote "AI Unveiled: Building confidence, competence and future success together" really got our focus even at the end of the day. Throughout the day we were able to network, share insights and thoughts for the key priorities for the fall. Once again, thank you all and special thanks ❤️ to Heidi Hietala for your support in organizing the day! #leadership #networking #success #AI #wellbeing #strategy #togetherness #team

Maija Kunttu-Lindblom, Commercial Insights Manager at Santander, introduced the journey that Santander has been on in the past few years. They have moved from being a country-centered organization to a Nordic set-up, and how that has affected gathering and utilizing customer feedback. She kindly shared their path of leveraging Generative AI to cluster and comprehend customer insights and feedback, and emphasized the importance of customer and partner centricity in their business model. Enento’s UX Manager Aki Koski shares the same sentiment: “Enento has faced similar challenges when expanding its activities and collaboration across the Nordics. Now, we are about to introduce a GenAI-based tool. This innovative approach will help us enhance our customer experience strategy while driving business growth in the right direction. By utilizing new insights, we will continue to uncover fresh ways to serve our customers. This will enable us to listen to our customers even better and make data-driven, high-quality decisions more efficiently. A key focus for us is engaging every employee to consistently think from the customer's perspective. We are committed to taking this to the next level.” This session was the final presentation of Enento’s Voice of the Customer week. We thank all the visitors for sharing their top-notch knowledge of GenAI-based customer experience!
