With companies like Atolli Oy, Finland has everything it needs to become a leading international provider in modern hydrogen infrastructure. The key lies in underutilized engineering plastics, which offer long-lasting and eco-friendly solutions along the hydrogen value chain. “Every industrial plant worldwide employs plastic for pure water applications. Since drinking water pipes are polyethylene, why wouldn’t we use it in the hydrogen economy?” Read more in the article below ⬇️

We need to talk about the demand 🎯 This was one of the main conclusions from the discussions in the High-level Policy Conference at #euhydrogenweek. In addition to underlining the urgent need for having the right mechanisms in place to support the hydrogen demand development, emphasis was also placed on how to ensure the competitiveness and resilience of the European hydrogen supply chains. Improved performance and innovations are needed as well as flexibility in combining different funding instruments. Excellent event with great opportunities for networking and new perspectives. Thank you to the organizers and the national team of Finland including Business Finland and Vetyklusteri - H2 Cluster Finland and many others. Big thanks also to Suvi Kurkijärvi for the great company!

The message the Finnish Hydrogen Cluster is bringing to Brussels European Hydrogen Week is simple: Hydrogen is the new backbone of the European peace and prosperity project, and it requires a new shared European vision and strong cooperation across the continent. Europe must be ready to rethink its approach to competitiveness, self-sufficiency, climate change, and security through hydrogen. If investments are not directed to regions where they make the most sense, we risk losing significant potential both locally and across the EU. If we don’t make the right investments in the EU now, we will not be the forerunners we want to be in green hydrogen, e-methane, or e-methanol in the 2030s.

Vetytalous on aidosti uusi teollisuuden ala ja sadan miljardin euron bisnes Suomelle 💯 Saksa joutuu tulevaisuudessa tuomaan ulkomailta jopa 70 prosenttia kaikesta tarvitsemastaan vedystä. Suomella taas on päästötöntä, uusiutuvaa energiaa, josta tehdä vetyä.
