🤝 CleverHealth Network’s eCare for Me project – a standout example of successful public-private collaboration in the #Helsinki health ecosystem! Led by HUS Helsingin yliopistollinen sairaala and funded by Business Finland, the eCare for Me project was one of the first initiatives launched within the CleverHealth Network. Over five years, the project tackled three key areas of research to develop innovative solutions for improved patient care: 🔬 Research focus - Rare diseases: Promoting early detection to reduce delays in diagnosis - Acute leukemia: Personalised treatments enabled by more precise diagnostics - Home dialysis: Developing remote tools to enhance home care and professional monitoring of dialysis patients 🌟 The results? - Faster rare disease diagnosis: Unique algorithms now accelerate diagnosis, cutting time from processes that previously took up to 10 years. - Data harmonisation: The adoption of the OMOP data model at HUS enables seamless, multi-centre research across Finland and globally, saving time and resources. - Improved cancer care: The Tumor Board application co-developed with Tietoevry automates and enhances cancer patient diagnostics, treatment selection and guidance. - Remote care solution for home dialysis: A new solution was created in collaboration with Fujitsu. CleverHealth Network is an ecosystem led by HUS Helsinki University Hospital, bringing together clinicians and companies to co-create better treatment solutions for patients and successful export products for companies.
