Infine's and Food Data Finland's project on defining sustainability data, conducted in partnership with the Finnish Environment Institute, has reached it's completion. Together with Apetit Oyj, Fazer, HKScan, Kesko - K-Group, Leijona Catering Oy, Olvi Oyj, Orkla Finland, Snellman Lihanjalostus and Sodexo, Infine explored the best ways to utilize sustainability data, establishing sustainability criteria and developing technology for data collection and comparison. We can't wait to see what other possible projects lies ahead of us with Food Data Finland! As part of the project, Food Data Finland held a three-part training for its network members on upcoming legislative requirements, retailer sustainability standards, and the importance of data accuracy and accessibility in the food chain. The winners of the 2025 Finland's Most Responsible -competition have been announced! The honorees are Pääkaupunkiseudun Kierrätyskeskus, Sievi's Racer Ecotech safety shoes, and Bockwurst Kalawursti. The public's favorite is Ruukin Kehräämö's alpaca clothing, and a special mention was awarded to Suomen Luonnonmaalit's paint. The competition aims to highlight products and services that support a sustainable lifestyle, encouraging manufacturers to develop more responsible products and production methods. Finalists and winners are selected by an independent Responsibility Panel, and the competition also includes a public voting category.
