We sat down with AMWatch to talk about Kvanteds journey so far and our ambitions for the future. 🔑 On why we started Kvanted - to address the demand for a pure-play #industrialtech investor. 💎 On achievements so far - 8 portfolio companies, latest investments including French #industrialautomation company #Samp and Finnish #quantum company QMill. ⚙️ What are we currently looking at - #Robotics is one very interesting space. 🚀 On market trends - In 2024, VC investments in industrial tech companies have become as popular as those in #GenerativeAI. Industrial tech attracted EUR 3.3bn of European VC funding in the first three quarters of the year, the same amount as Generative AI (Dealroom). 🎯 Our edge - “We have a clear focus, which separates us from other players in the market.” Thank you AMWatch and Reeta Paakkinen for the nice chat! 🙏✨ Axel Ahlström Eerik Paasikivi Maria Wasastjerna
Finnish industrial tech investor Kvanted launched in November a year ago with ambitions to become one of the leading industrial tech startup investors in Europe. “Our plan is to expand our LP base and pull along also institutional investors, European family offices and pension funds. Our fund size needs to grow so that we can become a leading market player in industrial tech VC in Europe," says founding partner Maria Wasastjerna. According to Wasastjerna, the company plans to add more companies to its portfolio with the aim of having invested in a maximum of 25 companies by the end of 2026. #assetmanagement #startups #techinvestments #industrialtech #ai #techfund #venturecapital #vcs #institutionalinvestors #fundraising #finland #nordic #portfoliomanagement #privateequity
