We have some exciting carbon capture news to share with you! Langh Tech has partnered with Damen Shipyards Group and Atal Solutions for the first commercial installation of our OCC system on four bulk carriers! We are looking forward to this project and utilizing the unique life-cycle approach that we have developed, which reduces CO2 emissions while creating monetary value. How? Our innovative post-combustion process produces sodium carbonate out of the captured CO2. This sodium carbonate can then be sold, as it is used for diverse applications in other industries such as glass manufacturing. Thus, Langh Tech combines the environmental benefits of decarbonisation with creating additional value by selling and utilizing the waste product. Exciting advancements in onboard carbon capture! This summer, we've made significant progress with our carbon capture pilot plant by conducting various tests. We have successfully identified many of the optimal operational parameters, enabling us to maximize CO2 capture efficiency while minimizing space and energy requirements. Alongside our onboard testing, laboratory analyses of our capture product are also in full swing. Our current focus is on refining the process to align with the specific needs of our product receiver partners, ensuring that our technology is both effective and tailored to requirements in different utilization applications. #langh #occ #carboncapture #co2 #maritime #greentech
