Hearing loss, particularly in the elderly, often leads to social isolation and cognitive decline that can affect both the patients and their loved ones. Still, around 80% of individuals with hearing loss remain undiagnosed. 🦻 Otos is tackling this global issue by making hearing diagnostics faster, more accurate, and accessible. Their advanced automation technology allows clinicians to assess multiple patients in minutes, optimizing resources and speeding up treatment. ⏩ The Otos team, Wycliffe Raduma, Saku Sinkkonen, Ville Sivonen and Tanja Tervonen, have decades of expertise in clinical practice, research, and technology. For our fifth incubator program we received 49 high-quality applications representing a wide range of health-related startups and research teams. The majority of the applications came from Finland and in additions we received applications from Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia and Latvia to name a few.
