Woohoo! We have won a tender in Hungary to build an industrial-scale, building-integrated CO₂ capture plant there! This time, our modular system will capture CO₂ from a building's ventilation and supply the captured CO₂ to a customer-advised application. As pioneers of the world's first building-integrated carbon capture technology, with this seventh delivery case, we can say we're proud to expand our technology across new geographies. Thanks to all our well-wishers, customers, investors, accelerators, partners, and of course to the stellar team of Soletair Power 🤝🎉 #DirectAirCapture #CarbonCapture #SoletairPower #capturingCO2 #CO2 #HVAC #Hungary #UDAC #DAC

Building the world's largest distributed decarbonization ecosystem.
About us
For centuries, human beings have been treating Earth like a rental. Carbon pollution levels are accelerating. The result is deadly: a climate emergency that is already killing countless living organisms, displacing people, and sowing the seeds for famine, epidemic, poverty, and war. The reality is that we do not have time. IPCC has consistently warned about the dangers and costs of continuing on the path of exceeding planetary boundaries. We are now at a point where humanity has to rely on capturing heat-trapping gas CO2 from the atmosphere if we are to keep the warming of the planet within 1.5°C. Real estate accounts for nearly half of all emissions. Hence, any successful green transition towards a sustainable future will have to engage the built environment and present compelling financial futures for the real estate sector, both commercial and private. Building Integrated Carbon Capture technology can play a vital role in reaching net zero and thereafter accelerating the regeneration of the atmosphere. We turn buildings into carbon-capturing machines. Our patented onsite carbon capture technology empowers commercial property owners to reduce buildings' CO2 emissions while making significant cost savings. Soletair Power modular carbon capture systems operate plug-and-play, enabling property owners to rapidly and easily install carbon capture solutions in buildings. We are collaborating with scientists, inventors, and entrepreneurs pursuing solutions to lower emissions, remove carbon, actively cool the planet, and save human, animal, and plant life as we know it. Our values live through the entrepreneurial spirit of our diverse and inclusive network.

As a finalist of the Green Tech Challenge, we traveled to Hong Kong to address building decarbonization. Thanks to Carbonless Asia, Sustainable Finance Initiative, and HKSTP - Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and Invest Hong Kong.
~70% of carbon footprints in Hong Kong are generated from power generation. Of which, ~90% of our electricity are consumed by buildings. I.e., #PropTech, #GreenBuilding is a key #GreenTech segment that presents enormous opportunities in our path towards carbon neutrality. In collaboration with Carbonless (Tony Á. Verb, Deborah Wai), Sustainable Finance Initiative (Katy Yung), and HKSTP - Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, Invest Hong Kong welcomed 8 finalists from the Green Tech Challenge from around the world to Hong Kong. • R8 TECHNOLOGIES : Provides AI driven solutions for real estate to achieve energy efficiency and decarbonisation goals. • Tether Ltd : Empowers facility and sustainability managers to cut costs and carbon through real time building data. • interpanel GmbH : Offers ceiling panels integrating biodynamic lighting, acoustics, heating and a unique cooling technology. • ClearVue Technologies Limited (ASX:CPV) : Designs reliable BIPV facades to meet building and construction standards, generate electricity and improve energy efficiency. • Criaterra Innovations : Creates cement free construction products with superior insulation and zero waste. • Ecocem Global : Pioneering low carbon technology that can decarbonise 6% of global CO2 emissions from cement. • Soletair Power : Turns buildings into carbon capturing machines. • CERAFILTEC : Supplies ceramic membrane filtration solutions that enhance plant reliability and lower ownership cost. More detailed profiles: https://lnkd.in/grkJz6Rx Together with OXGRIN (Oxford Green Innotech) & REFIRE - that offer their expertise in Construction Site & Supply Chain #Electrification using #ammonia and #hydrogen respectively, we engaged in a speed-dating engagement format with #impact #investors to offer potential investment opportunities as well as strategic advice for entering the Hong Kong market. Over the next few days, our partners will continue to connect the 8 finalists to key #sustainability stakeholders, especially in the #commercial #property sector in Hong Kong with the goal of introducing new capabilities and solutions to our Hong Kong ecosystem. My special thanks to Olivia To, SVP - Sustainability, our #GreenTech lead, for working tirelessly with our partners to deliver this impactful event! If you would like to connect with these #GreenTech companies to better understand their solutions, please contact Olivia at: oliviato@investhk.gov.hk #Built #Sustainability #GreenTech #PropTech

Denmark’s CO2 capture expert, Philip Loldrup Fosbøl, expresses his excitement about our installation in Aarhus: Denmark's first CO2 vacuum cleaner. He praised the project as "fantastic." The technology-loving engineers from Søren Jensen in Aarhus are the first movers who initiated this project with Soletair Power. Fosbøl highlighted the long-term potential of the system, which makes buildings part of the climate solution. The concept of installing DAC in an office building via a ventilation system makes much sense. There is already a large airflow, which is typically one of the most expensive elements of a DAC system. The ventilating air can thereby be channeled through the capture technology, where the carbon dioxide is bound to another material by a chemical process and can then be excreted. The system currently captures 15 tonnes of CO2 annually from Danica Pension's 3,000 sqm office, which could eventually lead to capturing 8.5 million tonnes across all Danish properties annually – equal to the emissions from Denmark's entire transport sector by 2030. As Fosbøl noted, this technology isn't just about emissions reduction; it’s also about removing CO2 directly from the atmosphere—a critical step for addressing historical emissions. Facts about our next system installation in Aarhus, Denmark: 🎯 LCA estimates a capture rate of 5 kgCO2/sqm. 🎯 Approximately 15 tCO2/a captured in the 3,000 sqm lease. 🎯 ~8.5M tCO2/a capture potential from total ~87M sqm of commercial properties and ~88M sqm of residential properties in Denmark. 🎯 The property is DGNB Gold certified. 🎯 The property contains recycled and reused materials such as ventilation ducts, cable trays, radiators and lighting fixtures that come from another Danica-owned office property. The initiative has been awarded the award “The Sustainable Element – The Solution Award” from Building Green for making a sustainable difference in the construction industry. Our Building-Integrated Carbon Capture (BICC) technology can help property owners comply with more building codes, earn credits, achieve certifications, and enhance values. The global building construction industry is a major contributor (nearly 40%) to carbon emissions. Building certifications offer a framework for assessing and optimizing a building’s environmental performance throughout its entire lifecycle, with a particular focus on reducing carbon emissions. Here’s how they contribute to a more sustainable building industry: Structured Approach: Certifications provide a clear roadmap for achieving sustainability goals, with established best practices. This allows developers to make informed decisions throughout the construction process. Third-Party Verification: The independent verification process ensures the building meets the stated sustainability criteria. This builds trust and transparency for tenants, buyers, and investors. Enhanced Marketability: Certified buildings are often more attractive to tenants and buyers who prioritize environmentally friendly spaces. This can lead to higher rental rates and property values. Innovation: Certifications encourage the development and implementation of innovative solutions for reducing a building’s carbon footprint. Learn about different building certifications here: https://lnkd.in/dExdAH8S
