Spring Advisor acted as the exclusive financial advisor to KSS Energia Oy in the divestment of its electricity retail business to Oomi Energia. The divestment is in line with KSS’ new strategy to focus on diversified energy production and service businesses, while ensuring that current electricity retail customers will receive high-quality electricity contracts and related responsible services from Oomi in the future. The transaction is subject to approval by the Finnish Competition Authorities, and the target is to close the deal in the first quarter of 2025. 💡 Yesterday we had the pleasure of hosting an event for the World Energy Council’s Future Energy Leaders Finland, where we explored the key elements of effective investment decision-making💡   Our partner Ville Sailas shared valuable insights into the investment lifecycle, drawing from his extensive experience advising on various FID processes. Peter Jaspers from Bergmann Attorneys at Law provided a legal perspective, while Herkko Plit from P2X Solutions Oy offered practical insights from his hands-on experience in making hydrogen investment decisions.   A big thank you to our speakers and all the Future Energy Leaders who made the event an exceptional occasion!
