📊 Taaleri's financial results for the fourth quarter marked a strong finish to 2024 Highlights for October–December 2024 include: 👉 Continuing earnings grew by 5.7% to EUR 10.4 (9.9) million. The Private Asset Management segment’s continuing earnings grew by 6.1% to EUR 7.1 (6.7) million, and the Garantia segment’s continuing earnings grew by 11.1% to EUR 3.1 (2.8) million. 👉 Performance fees were EUR 1.8 (0.0) million, and net income from investment operations was EUR 7.7 (7.8) million. 👉 Income increased by 13.0% to EUR 20.0 (17.7) million. 👉 Operating profit was EUR 9.4 (6.9) million, corresponding to 47.0% (38.9) of income. 👉 Earnings per share were EUR 0.23 (0.14). The Board of Directors proposes that a dividend of EUR 0.50 per share be paid for 2024, distributed in two equal instalments of EUR 0.25 each. Taaleri's CEO Ilkka Laurila states: "The result for the final quarter of the year marked a strong end to 2024. Although progress was slower than desired, we have advanced our key strategic initiatives in the prevailing market. We will refine our strategy during the current year. New residents at Niebla solar plant ☀️ In January, around 550 sheep arrived at the Niebla solar plant in Spain. These woolly residents will spend most of the year at the solar park. This marks the second time the solar park has welcomed new residents. Our collaboration with a local sheep farm began a year ago. The initiative has been a success, and it benefits both agriculture and energy production. The solar panels provide shade and shelter for the sheep, while their grazing reduces the need for lawnmowers. Taaleri Energia joins the Solar Stewardship Initiative☀️ During 2024, one of Taaleri Energia’s focus areas in sustainability work has been procurement. To further develop our sustainable procurement practices, Taaleri Energia has now become a member of the Solar Stewardship Initiative (SSI). Launched by SolarPower Europe and Solar Energy UK in 2022, the aim of the SSI is to promote sustainable production in the solar value chain. Joining the SSI was a natural continuation of our work in developing sustainable procurement practices as resources and access are obstacles to conduct on-site due diligence on our own. It is important that the industry joins forces to ensure that ESG and traceability requirements are respected. Our vision is that in the future the SSI certification system can be utilised for our solar panel procurement as a golden standard, ensuring us that the minimum safeguards are respected throughout a transparent value chain, down to the raw materials. We believe that the SSI is the right type of initiative, and we are seeing great progress. 📢 Great news! 📢 Taaleri Real Estate and Keva, Finland's largest pension insurer, have established a joint venture with the aim of investing a total of EUR 300 million in high-quality build-to-rent residential development projects in Finland's growth centres. Taaleri Real Estate will be responsible for project acquisitions, development and portfolio management in the joint venture. Taaleri Real Estate has already identified potential investments and is actively looking for multifamily development projects to be acquired in line with its investment strategy. "We are grateful for Keva's trust and commitment to developing modern, functional rental housing in Finland, especially at a time when new residential construction volume is at an all-time low.
