Прекрасный отель, хоть и не новый, океан виден со всей территории и номеров) вкусные завтраки и улыбчивый персонал! В номере было все необходимое. Видели 1 раз таракана в номере, но это нормально для такой страны и климата… было конечно не приятно и хорошо, что мы уже уезжали на экскурсию 😄

If you’re considering booking this hotel, I would recommend without hesitation! We had a deluxe room on the first floor, which was perfect for the three of us, we felt the house keeping staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, the room was cleaned immaculately every day with a good morning and a huge smile. The head chef really looked after us, we stayed for 12 nights and always had something to eat with a very fussy teenager, he came around every day to check on us, thank you so much for looking after us. The staff at Breeze and Chatters again went above and beyond they really made our stay memorable. The pool men again, treat them with respect and they will look after you daily too. The beach was stunning, we walked both ways and WOW it’s just beautiful. We had a tuktuk ride from one of tuktuks outside the hotel, I didn’t get the drivers name, but his dog is called Bruno and son goes to Lester university, he was a an absolute delight, we told him what we wanted and got exactly that. Sri Lanka you stole our hearts!

Thaala Benthota is idyllic resort a blend of traditional in srilanka. The attentional detail in the room design adds touch of luxury and maintaining homely feel. The resort well maintained with an inviting pool area, direct access to the beach. Love the place.

Delightful hotel right on the beach. Situated between the beach and the hotel itself is a lush grassed garden, populated with palm trees and a couple of pools. Many sunloungers abound here and the staff will helpfully furnish them with cushions and towels for you. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis. I thought this was a wise move as there are plenty of local restaurants to sample nearby. Many within walking distance. A $1 tuk tuk ride will take you to even more. The restaurant which serves an excellent buffet breakfast also hosts a buffet lunch and dinner should you require. There is a coffee shop near reception next to a pool table. A bar (chatters bar) resides next to the larger of the two pools. Maybe a little overpriced, but they do have some deals on. Snacks available too. The main original hotel building is two storeys high and all rooms have the garden and beach further out. Our room had a small balcony with table and chairs. A well equipped en-suite and a decent quality tv. WiFi is freely available and works well. Air conditioning is efficient and there is also a ceiling fan. The newer section of the hotel is three storeys high and next to the larger pool. Bed is large and comfy. Plenty of sockets in the UK format, although some can take euro plugs. 90 minutes drive from CMB, I can highly recommend this friendly hotel both for its location, quality and service.

stayed at Thaala Bentota for a few days, and it was an amazing experience. The room was spacious and clean, with a beautiful view. The food was tasty, and the staff were attentive. The hotel offers great value for money, especially considering the beach location and quality service.

Such a wonderful view with peace and on the chatters bar I had a wonderful experience. The staff unbelievable hospitality and they are always with smiles. Such a lovely rooms for couples with nice balcony. It a wonderful feeling when on my first step on their. Hopefully we will be back
