A year or so ago, I purchased Duplicate File Finder Remover in the App Store for my Mac. While it does indeed find many duplicates, I've discovered that it has failed to find tons of others, even though I've scanned these folders multiple times and, yes, have selected the more thorough search option in the app settings. I'm mainly looking for duplicate videos and photos.

I'm looking for an app that's on the accuracy level of Find Any File, except for finding duplicate files instead of just finding individual files. But it doesn't have to be free. I'd be willing to shell out money if it works with pretty much 100% accuracy.

Any recommendations?

I think that can be achieved by a script or some lightweight code. Are those files located in the same folder?

Dupeguru is my suggestion - exceptional duplicate file finder.

Downloaded and tried without changing any settings. I noticed on a few duplicate videos, it was the same video at two different resolutions (say, 480p and 720p), and the one it selected for deletion was the higher resolution one, which is obviously not desirable (at least I'd imagine not to most people). So I'll need to see if there's a setting in there to prevent that. But probably safest to manually review every file it selects anyway.
