I had a client that was angry. On the verge of rage. In my experience, when someone is that upset, it isnt really about the subject manner at hand. The client was upset with his son about a business decision and threatened to end the relationship. After a series of conversations, I learned that he loss another son to an addiction. We then discussed the importance of learning to express feelings. Instead of anger, he shared that he buried one son and had fear of it happening again. Through tears, we were able to come up with a solution. The key here is listening. Then its going deep into feelings and having discernment.
