His expertise in ophthalmology and surgical robotics makes him the ideal leader to drive AcuSurgical's next phase of growth.   Didier's 30+ years of global experience in healthcare technology, including leadership roles at GE Healthcare, Zimmer Biomet, and Boston Scientific, will be invaluable in guiding our expansion and innovation strategies.   Christoph Spuhler, who has held the role of CEO up until now and co-founded AcuSurgical , will continue to play a key role in driving innovation and overseeing the development of Luca, our flagship robotic platform. In a world first, patients with retinal disease were treated using a dual-instrument surgical robot. The success of these procedures marks a major milestone in improving treatments for these challenging conditions.
