ALLEGRIA - agence événementielle | Australie 🇦🇺 2024
I was humbled to be in the presence of French cultural and creative experts at SXSW Sydney tonight. Derrin Brown and I have a life long commitment to fostering global creativity, and tonight was no exception. We discussed exciting new opportunities for a cultural exchange between France and Australia, at the opening of NSW House. Head to SXSW, it’s one heck of a program. Bravo Sydney. 📣 ICC Immersive Program 2024 in Brisbane ! 🤝 This initiative, supported by the French government through the Ministère de la Culture and the Institut français, is further strengthened by the French Team in Australia, including the Cultural Department of the French Embassy in Australia, Business France and in close collaboration with the Alliance Francaise de Brisbane - to introduce French businesses of the cultural and creative industries to the Australian ecosystem and enable them to export their different projects to the other side of the world. 🌏 After three days rich in encounters, connections, and discoveries in Melbourne, the French delegates of the ICC Immersive Program 2024 set down their suitcases in #Brisbane – the largest city of the Queensland state and the 3rd city in Australia in term of population. Brisbane is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Australia for its pleasant quality of life, large parks, typical architecture, outdoor attractions and dynamic cultural and creative scene. ➡️On Thursday 17th and Friday 18th, representatives from the 9 French companies and start-ups ALLEGRIA - agence événementielle, Anima Lux, Atoflow, BLACK BOAT PICTURES, Iconem, Compagnie La Machine, Mood Booster Group, VR Boxing and 2 LUCKY PROD followed another intense program. 🙏 Many thanks to the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) for their warm welcome on Thursday morning, as well as to Advance Queensland, Arts Queensland, Screen Queensland, Trade and Investment Queensland, Brisbane Economic Development Agency, Creative Brisbane and Brisbane Festival for their presentations at The Precinct on Thursday afternoon. It was a real learning experience for all of us – followed by a speed-networking session and a networking reception in presence of interlocutors from different art and cultural organizations, universities, local authorities, and the French community of Brisbane. Thank you all for coming to meet and discuss with all of us ! 🙏 Friday was another fruitful day for the French delegates – starting with the visit of THE CUBE. Our deepest thanks to the QUT (Queensland University of Technology) for having us ! The rest of the day was dedicated to individual BtoB meetings with Brisbane key players from the cultural and creative sectors, and an enriching collective meeting with the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS). Friday ended with a dinner at the Brisbane Powerhouse along the Brisbane river – thanks to the Mary Mae's Bar & Kitchen team for arranging us such a nice evening ! 🎉 This weekend, the delegation landed in Sydney for the third and final part of the program, visiting the Sydney Opera House before attending a show and enjoying a day off on a sunny Sunday before engaging in more meetings and networking sessions on Monday !
