🎯 Final Event of the AMULET H2020 project❗️ We want to go back to the final event that was held from October 16-17, 2024 during the 13th International Trade Fair for Composite Materials KOMPOZYT-EXPO®. For us, it was an intensive time which was marked by fruitful discussions, exchange of experiences and networking with other EU projects like consortium partners from ResC4EU that were present during the fair. It was also a unique occasion to talk with representatives from several other EU projects dedicated to supporting SMEs - such as GreenOffshoreTech and Project IDEALIST - who were also present in Krakow. 📣COACHING activities within the AMULET H2020 project❗️ 🔎 The AMULET Coaching Programme was a free service accessible to all European SMEs that operate in the fields of Advanced Materials. 💡This exclusive initiative offered SMEs the unique opportunity to engage in free coaching sessions provided by experts in the field of lightweight and advanced materials. The Coaching Programme was a collaborative and supportive process with the specific aim of helping and supporting SMEs in the development of new lightweight solutions, by: 📍technical coaching 📍business support 🎯We organised around 60 coaching programs for SMEs and spent over 300 hours of one-to-one COACHING sessions🎊 At this point, we would like to thank all partners for their involvement in the implementation of this program and many thanks to all coaches who were involved in that process. 📣THEMATIC CHALLENGE COMPETITIONS within the AMULET H2020 project❗️ 🎯The ultimate goal of AMULET was to significantly contribute to CO2 emissions reduction in the EU by boosting the role of SMEs. To consolidate new lightweight industrial value chains in: 🧱building, ✈️ aerospace & aeronautics, 💡 energy, 🚗 automotive sector AMULET identified current sectoral challenges per type of advanced material: ✅ fibre-reinforced polymers ✅ ceramic matrix composites ✅ light metal alloys. 🔎 The thematic challenge-based competitions of AMULET were organized through two Open Calls under a funnel approach, where SME consortia (2-3 SMEs) were developing solutions to the industrial challenges coming from industrial end-users and suppliers.
