🌍 A tasty, creamy, cost optimized and clean label chicken soup? Challenge accepted. A Thai company, known for crafting soup seasonings for both local and export markets, approached us with a specific challenge: enhance the creamy taste of their chicken soup while keeping costs reasonable. With export targets including Europe and Asia, their solution also needed to meet clean label and stringent regulatory standards like those in the EU. This request is more than a formulation challenge—it’s a reflection of consumer demands. In 2023, 86% of Thai consumers felt food and drink prices had increased (FMCG Gurus), and 79% cited taste as a key factor when evaluating value. Alongside taste, natural claims and sustainability strongly shape buying decisions. Our expert Kritapas Phanumas worked closely with the team to test various yeast extracts, knowing that the final flavor would depend on the recipe.
