Back for the 2023/2024 season, Safety Shred Days kicked off its tour of avalanche awareness weekends across France and Switzerland. Co-founded by SPY+ pro rider Victor Daviet, the event has set out on its mission to spread the knowledge, awareness and camaraderie necessary for safe and fun days in the backcountry. This season Victor and crew visited the Pyrenees for the first time, hosting a weekend at Cauterets before moving to Thyon Région Tourisme, Switzerland and eventually La Rosière-Espace San Bernardo in the Alps for the main event of the tour. This unique concept brings a mix of avalanche consciousness and education in a format that is accessible and fun-driven. Across the three weekends, the Safety Shred Days team hosted 600 people with a full schedule of training, conferences, film premieres and plenty of riding, including a banked slalom race on the final day. Having started as a small gathering of friends in the Alps in 2018, SSD has grown into a standard-bearer of snow-safety in the European scene by providing world-class level avalanche training to both professional athletes and general public in an effort to make the mountains more safe and enjoyable. As a brand that exists to spread the love of getting out there and enjoying our playgrounds, SPY+ is proud to be a sponsor of Victor Daviet and Safety Shred Days. Bollé Brands a rejoint le Pacte mondial de l’ONU - Réseau France en 2021 afin de faire partie d’un collectif d’entreprise cherchant à promouvoir le respect des droits humains, de conditions de travail décentes, l’anti-corruption et à baisser l’impact environnemental lié à nos activités. Le Pacte nous a permis de structurer notre démarche RSE autour des principes évoqués précédemment. ♻ Chaque année, nous partageons publiquement l’avancement de notre démarche RSE et nous avons les outils pour mettre en place une démarche d’amélioration continue reposant sur des principes communs, dans le but de contribuer aux 17 Objectifs de Développement Durable. 🤜 Bollé Brands s’est fixé des objectifs de réduction d’émission de gaz à effet de serre certifiés par la Science Based targets Initiative. Cela signifie que ces objectifs sont alignés avec une limitation de la hausse des températures liée au changement climatique en-dessous de 1.5°C d’ici 2100.
