[Birds & Bats] 🐦🦇 BW Ideol is proud to contribute to the PIAFF&CO project, the first French initiative providing field knowledge on the potential impact of floating wind turbines, like our Floatgen prototype, on birds and bats. 📹 Using AI-powered technology, a camera mounted directly on Floatgen's base detects and identifies birds, offering valuable insights into their behavior near the turbine blades. PIAFF&CO is a collaborative project led by the Fondation OPEN-C with the French Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, EDF Renouvelables and Centrale Nantes.
