Last night saw the Nantes final of "ma thèse en 180 secondes". In an incredible atmosphere, with the audience on fire, the 16 candidates performed in 3 minutes, the summary of their thesis on the Stéréolux stage. 🎤 We are very proud of our three CEISAM PhD students who qualified for the regional final to be held in Le Mans on March 21. Of the 8 prizes awarded, Mélyne Baudin Marie won the Public Prize, and Corinne Coutant and Benjamin Ludwig both received a Jury Prize. 🏆 Congratulations to the 3 of you, it's well deserved! We hope you go far in the competition! 💪

We are proud to announce that 3 of our CEISAM PhD students will be participating in the "ma thèse en 180 secondes" competition. Mélyne, Corinne, and Benjamin have set themselves the challenge of summarizing their thesis projects in 3 minutes (and it's quite excellent). Come and support them on Tuesday, February 20 at 8 pm at the Stéréolux (Nantes), where they will compete in the Nantes final: only 8 candidates will be selected from the 16 participants. If selected, they'll go on to the regional final in Le Mans! 🌟 Good luck to all three, and congratulations on qualifying for the Nantes final! 💪

📆 Save the date! 📆 As you may know, on the 8th of February, at Stereolux Nantes, there is the "Nuit blanche des chercheurs" where you can learn a lot about science directly from researchers. 👩🔬👨🔬 We are happy to share that, this year, 3 PhD students at CEISAM have their stand from 6 to 10:30 p.m. in "hall 6 ouest", 2nd floor near the footbridge. The topic will be enantiomer, or, how 2 molecules can look the same, but have absolutely different properties. For instance, one can have a therapeutic effect, but another can be harmful. Julien, Charlotte, and Baptiste will explain to you how it works and will show you some fun scientific experiments. ⚛ Don't hesitate to come see them at their stand, they will be happy to discuss science with you! See you there! 👋
