VOCs and OVOCs measurement at the top! Chromatotec is happy to participate to a measurement campaign made at the top of the Puy de Dôme at the globe physics observatory of Clermont Ferrand in France and organized by researchers of the Physical Meteorology Laboratory (LaMP) . These measures are made among the Research Infrastructure ACTRIS-RI, with the help of the calibration center CiGas from IMT Nord Europe. They complete the measures made for the RACLET campaign in Spring 2024. https://lnkd.in/eC4dT7Uf Our analyzers airmoVOC C2-C6, airmoF and airmoOVOC have been installed beginning of July for a campaign planned to last until end of September 2024. The results of these continuous measurements of Volatile Organic Compounds and Oxygenated Volatile Organic Compounds are particularly convincing: formaldehyde, methanol, acetone and ethanol are measured day and night at a height of 1453 m. #OPGC #measurementcampaign #Puydedome #anavoc #analysis

Last week we were present at the National Ambient Air Monitoring Conference (NAAMC) conference in New Orleans, Louisiana! This conference, sponsored by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Association of Clean Air Agencies, and the Association of Air Pollution Control Agencies (AAPCA) is a must for federal, state, local and tribal air pollution organizations involved with operating, planning, or managing air monitoring networks and reporting data to AQS, and/or AIRNOW. There are more than 1000 attendees, from local, state, tribal agencies, manufacturers, scientists from academia and over 100 presentations and 70 exhibitors, as well as hands-on training sessions by instrument companies such as ours. #CHROMATOTEC and our USA distributor #ConsolidatedAnalyticalSystems were sponsoring the event and exhibiting. On monday Seth Cloran performed a training on the PAMS autoGC systems where many users attended and learned a lot. On wednesday, JEAN PHILIPPE AMIET presented the latest development of CHROMATOTEC #autoGC for light oxygenated VOCs with our airmoOVOC and for Formaldehyde with our airmoF online analysis..
