AGM 2025: Save the date between January 22-24! The next General Meeting of the network will take place in Marseille (France) 🇫🇷 from January 22-24, 2025, co-organised with Archaos, Pôle National Cirque, in the frame of BIAC - Biennale Internationale des Arts du Cirque (from January 9 to February 9, 2025) and its Professional Forum (from January 21-25, 2025). This event is organised in partnership with Lieux Publics, centre national des arts de la rue et de l'espace public & pôle européen de création IN SITU - European platform for artistic creation in public space and FAI-AR - Formation supérieure d'art en espace public with the support of the European Union and the French Ministry of Culture. When? ➡️One meeting per year, in different regions of Europe, in the frame of a festival or a cultural event organised and hosted by a member. What? ➡️The General Meeting is the annual assembly of Circostrada. 📕South Africa - Perspectives From an International Field Trip In March 2024, Circostrada members embarked on a journey through South Africa’s contemporary circus and outdoor arts scene. Collaborating with key cultural institutions—including the The forgotten Angle theatre collaborative's My Body My Space: Public Arts Festival, Zip Zap Circus, The CIRK, and the The Centre for The Less Good Idea—participants had the unique opportunity to connect with leading voices in these sectors. Curated by renowned playwright and producer Mike Van Graan, this research trip marked the conclusion of the Global Crossing series, part of Circostrada's CS BODY/IES project.
