It was a distinct privilege to welcome His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, to our stand at NAVDEX today. This visit highlights the strong and continued partnership between CMN NAVAL and the UAE. The relationship dates back to the first delivery of the Baynunah-class vessel in 2011, marking the beginning of a long lasting and successful collaboration. Congratulations to CMN – Constructions Mécaniques de Normandie as they celebrated a historic milestone in marking the success of its enduring partnership with Saudi Arabia. We were pleased to welcome Admiral Mohammad Bin Abdulrahman Bin Hamed Al-Gharibi, Head of the Royal Saudi Naval Force (RSNF), and his delegation at CMN. This visit highlights a significant achievement in the collaboration between CMN and Saudi Arabia: successfully delivering 58 vessels. Notably, 27 vessels were constructed in Saudi Arabia as part of a strategic Transfer of Technology (ToT) program. Beyond shipbuilding, the program has equipped over 700 Saudi cadets with practical training, strengthening the Kingdom’s shipbuilding expertise and maritime security capabilities. These vessels play a critical role in safeguarding Saudi waters and vital trade routes, aligning with the Kingdom’s vision for a robust and self-reliant maritime defense.
