Lieu de création et de conception, Cobloc architecture donne à Clarisse Krause et Ola Faladé l'opportunité de mettre en pratique les connaissances et le savoir-faire accumulés lors de leurs diverses expériences professionnelles. Créée en 2014, l’agence se veut innovante. L’architecture proposée est rationnelle sans pour autant utiliser un langage répétitif, elle est adaptée à chaque contexte particulier. Pour ce faire, Cobloc s’appuie sur une démarche itérative d’échange et de partage, permettant l’évolution constante des projets. Travailler avec le maitre d’ouvrage et la maitrise d’usage dès la conception du projet fait partie intégrante du processus d’élaboration des projets de l’agence. En effet, co-concevoir le projet et favoriser la pluridisciplinairé des intervenants permet à l’architecte de mieux répondre aux besoins de son commanditaire. #Architecture Innovation Adjaye Associates has designed a #sustainable and community-oriented art space for dot.ateliers in Accra, Ghana. This 560-square-meter facility, created for artist Amoako Boafo, is an architectural marvel emphasizing #ecological responsibility. Its double-layered rammed earth walls provide #natural insulation, reducing the building's carbon footprint while maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures. The #design incorporates a sawtooth roof that allows optimal natural light, minimizing the need for artificial lighting. This innovative structure includes a gallery, studio, café, library, and office, serving as a hub for artistic creation and community engagement. By integrating local materials and sustainable practices, dot.ateliers not only supports the arts but also promotes environmentally conscious #building methods, setting a new standard for future developments in #urban settings.
