#RoadSafety From November 18 to 22, Colas Rail rolled out its first Road Safety Awareness campaign, in line with the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims (November 17) 🛣 The objective was clear: 0 road accidents. To achieve this, we have set up a series of concrete high-impact actions. What was on the program? Among other initiatives: ✔Interactive webinar with videos & quizzes ✔Autopsy of a road accident ✔Rollover simulation ✔Dynamic exchanges to learn the best practices and adopt lifesaving behaviors. #BIM Last month, we were in San Diego to take part in Autodesk University, an event bringing together over 12,000 professionals from all over the world. In this session, we presented how Colas Rail is using BIM and automation to transform the design phases in the rail sector.🚆 ➡ After presenting our BIM expertise in the United States, we're continuing our mission of rail innovation in Copenhagen. A few days ago, at Rail Summit 2024 we've built on this momentum. This event, organized by Autodesk, is a unique moment to share our innovative practices and collaborate with experts from the four corners of the globe for a sustainable, digitalized future in rail. 🌟 Key takeaways from the conferences? BIM enables considerable time savings, greater precision, and higher quality in the design of systems such as catenary, tunnel ring segments, trackwork’s, video surveillance, and many others. #H2 Collective Tribune - For a Truly Decarbonized Hydrogen Production! Colas Rail, along with 15 other stakeholders in the renewable and low-carbon hydrogen sector, co-signed a column in Les Echos to alert the Government about the dangers of the massive reliance on carbon capture and storage technologies to produce so-called "blue" hydrogen. This reliance could risk maintaining France's dependence on fossil fuels and compromise our climate objectives. As early as 2018, France established the Hydrogen Plan, followed by the national strategy for decarbonized hydrogen in 2020, which aimed to launch ambitious projects and investments in a decarbonized energy mix. We call on the Government to reaffirm its commitment by implementing a new hydrogen strategy and finally publishing the support mechanism for hydrogen produced by water electrolysis, which has been enshrined in law since 2021. #SportsClub🏆 On November 8, 2024, Colas Rail Philippines hosted its very first Sports Day, celebrating the launch of our Sports Club with teams competing under Metro Manila Subway Project and North-South Railway Commuter Project. After a morning of warm-ups and motivating speeches, the competition kicked off with the basketball and badminton finals, where teams gave their all. The intensity and team spirit were palpable, creating unforgettable moments for all participants and spectators. ✨ Created to strengthen team spirit and employee well-being, the Sports Club brought together employees with four sports: basketball, badminton, bowling, and volleyball. Later, he has transitioned to COLAS Group, where he played a key role in a national tender process for Colas group entities. Almost three years ago, Marvin embraced a new challenge by crossing the Atlantic to join Colas Rail Panama. Today, he oversees procurement and logistics for the construction of Panama Metro Line 3, expertly navigating cultural and linguistic differences. 🚇   What drives him? Marvin is driven by the purpose behind his work. Contributing to a project that improves the daily lives of Panamanians brings him immense satisfaction. He’s also fueled by challenges, always eager to push his limits and to continue learning. 💪   His passion ? Sharing is a core value for Marvin, rooted in his upbringing. #WorkSite 🚧 We are celebrating a key milestone on Panama Metro Line 3 with the completion of the installation of the Power Contact Line (PCL) at the Ciudad del Futuro depot and the start of testing! 📅 May 2023 – The beginning of the installation of more than 11 km of power rails. 🚄 July 2024 – Launch of the Site Acceptance Test (SAT), with initial successful results that have satisfied our client Hitachi Rail. This progress paves the way for system and rolling stock testing in priority areas, bringing us even closer to the commissioning of this strategic infrastructure! 💡 As a reminder, this ambitious project includes 20 km of monorail for the future Panama Metro Line 3, with stations between Ciudad del Futuro and Panama Pacifico, and a maintenance depot in Ciudad del Futuro. #ColasRail #Panama #Railway #Urbanmobility #Infrastructure

#PinkOctober🩷   As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month focus, we have organized a webinar hosted by PREDILIFE on the importance of prevention, reminding us that screening can save lives.   The goal? To raise awareness among all our employees about the fight against breast cancer.   Throughout October, several events took place on our various sites, both in France and internationally, including conferences, sports events with body sculpt sessions or dance and yoga in Grenay, and awareness-raising and screening on breast and cervical cancer in Ivory Coast.
