🚀 45W@257nm demonstrated by CEA using CRISTAL LASER's low absorption LBO crystals! 🚀 🏆Gabriel Mennerat from CEA (France) will present at #PhotonicsWest a 45 W average-power record @257 nm with an all LBO conversion scheme. This is the crowning achievement of months of hard work and fruitful collaboration between CEA and CRISTAL LASER scientists! 🎉 🎯 The setup included a chirped-pulse picosecond laser source operating at 1kHz and emitting 220mJ pulses. In addition, three subsequent stages of frequency conversion (515nm, 343nm and finally 257nm), all utilizing one of CRISTAL LASER's LBO crystals, enabled the generation of 45mJ of deep-UV radiation – at an impressive conversion rate of 20%.
