CTIBiotech, models for your research. CTIBiotech uses advanced tissue engineering techniques (3D bioprinting, bioreactors) to develop models and bioassays needed to test the efficiency and effect of ingredients. Our models have varying levels of complexity suited our clients needs in the pharmaceutical industry and dermato-cosmetics sectors. We also work in partnership to co-develop new models that fit a specific requirement. The CTIBiotech Biobank is accredited by French authorities and we can offer human tissues, primary cells, cell lines and tumours. We currently store around 30 000 samples, from 0-94 years and from different ethnical backgrounds. Our customers come from all over the world, with particular emphasis for Europe and Asia.

Je vous donne rendez-vous ce jeudi 14 novembre à 13h45 au congrès POLEPHARMA Industrie du Futur. Je présenterai les avancées de CTIBiotech en matière de bio-impression 3D et vous expliquerai comment nos modèles de tissus humains personnalisés accélèrent le développement de nouveaux médicaments. Depuis 10 ans, CTIBIOTECH a transformé ses processus de production #CRDMO d'ingéniérie tissulaire de bioassays tissulaires et cellulaires humains pour accompagner l'innovation pharmaceutique, biomédicale et dermatocosmétique. Nous industrialisons la production de bioassays à partir de biopsies prélevées avec le consentement du patient : peau humaine artificielle, organoides et microtumeurs en série contenant le système immunitaire du patient, tissus humains pour simuler injections sous-cutanées ou intra-musculaires ou encore des organoides de foie humain permettant une innovation biomédicale à forte valeur ajoutée. Ces procédés industriels uniques sont basés sur la bio-impression 3D, une méthode de fabrication additive qui permet de produire de manière reproductible et précise des tissus humains spécifiques au patient. Congrès Polepharma Industrie du Futur, les 13 et 14 novembre 2024 à Chartres métropole Portrait de Dr Nico Forraz, Directeur Général CTIBiotech : En 2009, le Dr Nico FORRAZ et le Professeur Colin McGuckin ont fondé CTIBiotech, une société d’innovation qui développe et produit des modèles prédictifs de tissus et cellules humains par ingéniérie tissulaire et bioimpression 3D pour la recherche biomédicale, pharmaceutique et dermatocosmétiques. En tant que directeur général de CTIBiotech, il est en charge du développement commercial, des opérations industrielles et des relations avec les investisseurs et les institutions financières. De 2019 à 2022 il fut président bénévole de l’association Cosmet’In Lyon Skin Science qui fédère une centaine d’organismes industriels universitaires sur toute la chaine de valeur de la dermocosmetologie. Il possède une vaste expertise dans le domaine des cellules souches, de la médecine régénératrice, de l’ingénierie tissulaire et de la bioimpression 3D. Il a fait partie de l'équipe du Prof McGuckin qui a créé le premier tissu hépatique et neural artificiel du monde à partir de sang de cordon ombilical humain. Il a été le fer de lance de la génération du consortium de 43 millions d'euros du projet IMODI Cancer, le plus grand projet de recherche sur le cancer en France. Lauréat de plusieurs concours internationaux de business plans. Le Dr Forraz a obtenu son doctorat en 2003 à l'Université de Kingston et à la St George's Hospital Medical School de l'Université de Londres, au Royaume-Uni. Sous la direction du Professeur Colin McGuckin, il a étudié le potentiel de différenciation multitissulaire des populations de cellules souches de sang de cordon ombilical dans des applications en hématologie, oncologie, génie tissulaire et médecine régénératrice. De 2003 à 2004, le Dr Forraz a mené un projet de recherche postdoctorale à la St George's Hospital Medical School, Londres, Royaume-Uni, Département des sciences médicales fondamentales, sur la régulation génétique intrinsèque du développement des cellules souches du sang ombilical et des cellules malignes par la famille des facteurs de transcription HOX.
